Gavin at the Rate vs RHP is one of my favorite hitters.

Two HRs though, so he's got that going for him.

Haseley pulled from the game early, didn't appear injury related. Doesn't seem to make sense making a roster move to call him up right now, but a trade of some sort would also be a bit unexpected.

Sox pitching has been top 3 in K/9 this season, which is great...but largely dampened by them also being top 3 in BB/9. I don't think they'll stay quite this wild, especially the guys who haven't been historically, but they need to find some consistency sooner rather than later.

Mini-Gio mowing 'em down in Charlotte, 5K's through 2IP. I like him. He finishes with 11Ks through 5IP. 3H, no walks, 2ER on 2 solo shots.

Not a pretty win, but the bats showed some life. Yaz had a big day at the plate, but it's a day game tomorrow so I'm not sure they'll have him catch again. He could DH, but I doubt they want Eloy in the field just yet coming off the IL. Maybe just save him for a PH if needed? Either way, gonna need Cease to pitch deep tomorrow. BP is taxed as hell, wouldn't surprise me to see a roster move just to get a fresh arm up.
