Entertaining game, result aside. Boston might win it all if they don't flame out before they get there. Can't be mad at the effort, but certainly lots of lessons to take away for the boys and the staff in what has to be the closest to a playoff game they've had this season. Better to learn them now than then. Frustrating to be one strike away so many times, technically never trailed until the walkoff RBI. But they didn't lose any ground in the meantime and still control their own fate. And on the bright side, feels like we could see McDougal (or Smith) tomorrow? Murphy will be the option casualty for a fresh arm.
