Bailey is great defensively, but so is Hedges. Neither hits much typically, though Bailey is ice cold to start the year (under .400 OPS) and Hedges as been (for his standards) red hot. Pretty clear they are very out on Bo Naylor behind the plate, Bailey maybe the long term Hedges replacement as a glove first C.

Castillo has been great for most of his career but is off to a pretty rough start this season. He comes in with an OPS against over .900 in 3 road starts, although his BABIP vs. RHH is unsustainably high so some of it could be bad luck. But his expected stats aren't good either and he allows a lot of hard contact so there should be pitches to hit if the Sox want to even the series.

Hancock is a little similar to Burke, 26yo RHP off to a good start that could be a bit of a breakout. Much higher draft pedigree for Hancock who was drafted 6OA in 2020. He struck out 14 Royals over 7IP in his last start, but normally isn't quite that dominant....He has a more manageable 15 Ks total in 3 road starts. Sinker gets a lot of ground balls, but he also allows an above average pulled fly rate. SEA offense comes in a little tepid (averaging under 4 runs/game in their last 10) but their top 5 pen helps them win close games. Some better ABs with RISP would go a long way for the Sox chances in the series.
