Had to empty both the pen and the bench for these last two, but they got it done. Putting up some fight in the first two kept Bednar unavailable for the Yanks, which ended up paying off. Meanwhile, the Sox staff gave up just two Manfred runs over the last 22 innings. Hat tip to Seranthony especially. 21-15 in one run games this year, after going 15-36 last year. 34 wins at home surpasses the 2025 total with 26 left to play. Win #57 last year was in game 147 last year (in a series win vs. the Rays coincidentally, which I'll take as a good omen for the upcoming series)
