Houston's only win so far is that no hitter. In other words, they have lost 100% of games when they allow a hit. On the bright side, they are maybe the only team in baseball that could maintain that for a season and still have a shot at multiple wins.

Should be fun to watch Skubal, Ragans, and known ace Crochet battle it out as top lefties for their teams. Twins and Guards are late to the party.

Shortstops hitting HRs is kinda cool

Cool, fine, I'm not arguing that. I'm just pointing out that having a guy whose job is to coach first base and OF isn't an organizational failing. You can be mad about him being lost in the dugout without manufacturing outrage about the fact that his job just, like, exists.

It is trivial to Google "first base and outfield coach" and find that it is one of the most common combination of coaching responsibilities out there. And yes, that is how Bourgeois role was described when he was hired.

Both. No production for the Yanks, and none of the traded guys produced at the MLB level for another team either. But at least the second part probably changes soon with Oliver Dunn (2019 11th round Yanks pick, Rule 5'd and then traded) making the Brewers OD roster.
