What free agent pitcher would want to come to a team like the white sox who decide who’s opening, who’s starting, and who’s relieving by throwing a dart against the wall. Why come to the Sox when you can go somewhere else and continue to be a starter as opposed to an early inning beginning reliever?

80 swings and only 9 in play. Ultra pathetic. Nauseating. Unacceptable. Why should I care what the bloody cubs do or don’t do?

Venable may be a wonderful person or whatever but isn’t a wonderful manager. I think he’s a bit (probably more than a bit) of a flake. He’s playing blackjack while other managers are playing chess.

I’d rather win division titles and make deep playoff runs and frequent World Series appearances versus selling jerseys. I’m sure Jerry already has any paraphernalia profits already buried deep beneath his pillow.

He obviously is not now and he never will be a MLB star. He will never be anything above mediocre at best. However he could be a star once again in Japan unless having played in the MLB has scarred his hitting abilities for life. The League caught up to him and he hasn’t turned the tables back around because he not good enough and that something other teams saw in him and its why they passed on him when he was seeking out teams to bid on him. That why the Sox were able to get him. All the good teams passed on him,

Mune is a bust and Carlson has turned to dust. This rebuild now needs another coat of paint and a much savvier manager.

At least we don’t have to watch Mune and Colson strike out three or four times a game anymore in 2026 or frazzle out over Venables grab-bag pitching parade choices.

After blowing the division and now the choke job against the Guardians I’d think the majority of player on the W.S. Would love to be traded especially the pitchers to a team with a manager who understangs pitching.

Now that the curtain has slammed down on another W.S. season maybe the Bears can somehow manage to gain the playoffs again. Unfortunately the Blackhawks are garbage again and the Bull and their new hayseed rookie head coach, are a total smash up.

I will never understand why Venable’s lineups going forward after it became obvious that Colson isn’t a big league hitter didn’t have Ant at second and Meidroth at short.

Venable’s refusal to avoid Colson (the all time strikeout king) and allowing Colson to drown himself deeper and deeper over the last three months has probably ruined (permanently scarred) Colson forever and the same probably applies to Mune and as far as the future of Sox pitching, which pitcher in his right mind would want to pitch on this team?

I’m all for Peters in right field and Ant at second and Meidroth at short but we know V isn’t going to do that. Also, it is not against the rules of god and nature to pinch hit for Mr. Mune. I know it’s re emphasizing but under no circumstances whatsoever should the all time strike out leader in baseball recorded strike out history be allowed anywhere near home plate with a bat.

Humanly possible you say? That would be a lovingly gruesome sight to see. Don’t take him out until he foams from the mouth type of thing? Taking him out of the game on a stretcher would be a grand way to end the season. What do you think the white sox pitching staff will be doing during the off season? I’d bet many will be hiding in caves.

Venable is a putz for his choice of opener today and he’s a putz for bringing in Kaye. He’s a putz for not starting Fedde. He’s a putz for continuing to play the all time strike out king Colson Montgomery. He is a putz for playing Braden Montgomery every freaking day. If you want to call Getz a putz also that’s fine. They are both putz’s. In fact everyone connected to the Sox today are putz’s. There is a putz on every corner and every corner has a putz. How about those putz’s that emptied their wallets to buy inhumanly overpriced tickets to this putz fest? There are a lot of putz’s out there and they will continue to be putz’s on Saturday when the end comes. Kaputz to you and all you fellow kaputznics.

And that implosion was manufactured on Venable’s watch.

Sox fans have to feel as though this team’s manager has given us the shaft. It didn’t have to end up this way but then again I guess it did because our manager is in reality a lousy manager and evaluator of talent or lack of talent. This has got to be the biggest sports playoff series disaster in the history of Chicago sports. Nothing comes close and the stench of this horror will permeate this franchise for years to come. It’s the way that this series dissolved that’s unrivaled and absolutely devastating.
