  1. That why, despite the record so far, this organization is actually dysfunctional both at the managerial and general manager levels. The team playing above 500 (for now) has been a lark.
  2. I’m thinking along the lines that Getz is convinced that this team has reached its zenith and just doesn’t have the juice (even with a blockbuster trade or two) to stay atop their division for much longer and that he is now focused on next year and the years to come.
  3. According to Steve Stone (sometime earlier this season) the fallout from a 3am type arrival doesn’t effect the game you’re playing that day but rather the game the following day…..which will be tomorrow.
  4. Can you imaging the outrage and condemnation if Tony La Russa had done that?
  5. I’ve expressed how unimpressed I am with our manager before and now I’m wondering if it’s panning out that he’s actually incompetent.
  6. Not having Attonacci in the daily lineup going forward (I know he needs a day off once in a while) is ludicrous. Lower octane begets lower results. Pulling out a spark plug is asinine.
  7. C. Colson has been a bum at the plate since before the all star break. He hits a home run every two or three weeks. Have you seen where is batting average is at? 216. He’s an easy out.
  8. They did lose ground to Detroit and Minnesota.
  9. Colson has been a drag for weeks on end. I feel sorry for him. He looks pathetic at the plate. He’s embarrassing himself..
  10. Colson Montgomery does not belong in the major leagues. His at-bats have been just as bad (or maybe even worse) than Romo’s. Colson looks unfixable.
  11. He will probably seek low-cost roster depth or promote internal talent rather than making high cost acquisitions or panic selling.
  12. Look out. The Minnesota Twins are just a couple of sneezes away from taking over 1st place. If we are in 3rd place come Monday morning Getz may very well pull the plug on 2026.
  13. There’s nothing like preforming an embarrassment in front of the New York media. A nauseating embarrassment brought to you in living color on chsn.
  14. There is no way Reinsdorf gives his blessing to be buyers. This is still a rebuild.
  15. A long time ago. (I got it).
  16. He had zero Managerial experience anywhere before becoming a major league manager. The White Sox just threw him on the horse and said “ride em.” “You’re now a cowboy”. Yee Haa!
  17. Yes. Sell high and he now has the marketable title of Director of Culture.
  18. Because. That’s why. Or maybe he’s been traded.
  19. Still wouldn’t hurt to put up the For Sale Sign. Probably be more like a rummage sale. They might be able to get something for Peters. Some team could be interested in a Dugout Wand Waving Wizard or is he now a Wizard has-been.
  20. I’m thinking that the Sox are just days away from going from buyers to sellers. Getz and Reinsdorf have to know that the fine run by this young team is now off the tracks.
  21. Venerable doesn’t know how to manage (use) a pitching staff. Let Bove take complete control of all pitching decisions. Venerable is a neophyte manager. He doesn’t know what he doesn’t know.
  22. There has got to be something wrong with Venerable. This is too weird.
  23. Quero pinch hitting for Bennie is a sin.
  24. Venerable is a neophyte. Through his toying with the of the structure of pitching as it has been since time affinity we are now seeing the wheels fall off.
  25. Venerable is careless with his pitching staff. Maybe he should defer all pitching decisions exclusively to Bove. The Tigers smell blood.
