  1. Get your posters straight, traybroni! That was @Chicago White Sox, not me! But I’m sure we all watch plenty of games from this awful team. You just keep posting reactive worthless trash here like an angry old homer fan. Give it up.
  2. “Chris, where did all those cash considerations go?!?”
  3. Why would Getz give this 32-year old bum a million dollars guaranteed?
  4. At least the Sox can lead the MLB in something — injuries!!! More excuses for Getz.
  5. Tray loves him some Jerry!
  6. Chris Getz says this to himself in the mirror every morning when he wakes up and brushes his teeth.
  7. I believe you are correct, per FanGraphs. So Getz wasn’t willing to give up some paltry cash considerations for 25-year old Canario, but he was fine trading Thaiss for a worse 25-year old outfield prospect? Yes, I realize Canario required an MLB roster spot, but this team sucks and could have made room for him. Meanwhile, Baker is Rule 5 eligible anyways.
  8. He definitely should be fresh for tomorrow.
  9. Poor Rockies. Imagine setting the loss record and then only picking 10th in the very next draft. 😶
  10. This Bill Ladson guy is even more delusional than Merkin… ”White Sox acquire Baker, strengthen outfield Minors depth in deal for Thaiss”
  11. Crapra is absolutely terrible. Getz must really love infielders that are as bad as he was.
  12. Robert and Taylor back-to-back in a lineup is some hideous CF offense. Both at sub-.600 OPS.
  13. Maybe we can get another Dru Baker for Luis Robert?
  14. This, I will never understand. The one thing the Sox continue to do in a rebuild… play veterans that won’t be on the team beyond the season. It literally makes zero sense.
  15. The most recent timeline provided on Perez was 10 to 12 weeks back on May 2nd, which would give him a chance to make it back to the rotation by late July or early August. That would probably be cutting it too close for him to be dealt.
  16. Yep. Plesac covers for Schriffen’s ineptitude.
  17. If this is selling high, you may as well keep Lee. What you get back for Lee will probably be worse than Lee himself. I don’t mind 3 catchers on the roster when one can play 1B or DH.
  18. And since they are old, frail vets, they miss much of the season with injuries and net you nothing at all. See Tauchman and Slater.
  19. Does Getz not believe in A ball lottery tickets at all? He either trades them for old relievers or instead chooses to acquire bad older prospects that are a year or two from aging out of MLB chances.
  20. Jerry has a lot more bad signings made by his GMs over the years to be upset about being a waste of money rather than a closer who did a bunch for the community and was an All-Star in his first two seasons in a White Sox uniform before his stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma diagnosis.
