CHGO layoffs...
He blasted Jerry, Tony, and the unexpectedly mediocre 2022 season. If people weren’t watching this before, no one is watching it now. It went from a round table to a one man show. Yikes…

CHGO layoffs...
Sure, but the team is two seasons removed from a decent 3-year run, starting with the Covid-shortened season. People were interested in the Sox then, until they just had back-to-back putrid years and began another long-term rebuild. Fans aren’t interested in watching this shitshow or the beginning of yet another rebuild. The timing isn’t exactly a surprise.

Michael Lorenzen pitching himself as a 2-way player, possibly to Sox
Yeah, I think it would be funny if Lorenzen was actually trying to sell himself to the Sox to try to get them to throw millions at him. He would definitely be barking up the wrong tree. The Sox are only interested if your value and price are low based on previous season(s).

Sox Sign Bryse Wilson
Not in the Pirates picture. However, it looks like he gained some pounds with the Brewers. Too many Leinies and cheddarwursts.

Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
Yes, a never ending stream of terrible offseason transactions and in-season roster decisions.

Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
Last year’s team was unlucky now? Huh? Getz had an absolutely putrid offseason other than the Fedde signing and people were calling him out for it in real-time last year.

White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
It worked out for the little bum from Naperville that is somehow still making millions in the MLB from stupid teams.

Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
Definitely a worse team on paper than last year’s, which was to be expected with their “top” players hitting free agency and the expected trades of Fedde, Kopech, Crochet, Robert, etc. Maybe they somehow perform better than last year’s team, but I can’t imagine it will be by very much.

Stop making fun of Kopech.

CHGO layoffs...
Exactly. There’s no demand for Sox coverage because they are the worst team in baseball. Therefore, tough (but obvious) choices had to be made. This doesn’t seem too difficult to understand.

But if they reduced coverage the most for the Sox over other MLB teams, couldn’t that be because the Sox are such a bad team right now that there is very little interest in viewing coverage for them? And this in turn would put some of the blame on the Sox — basically for fielding such a bad team that no one cares to watch coverage for? Basically, if Jerry didn’t run such a shitshow team, CHGO would have retained more of their Sox coverage staff. Yes, Jerry didn’t fire them but he is indirectly to blame for the results. No one is interested in a crappy product, so this is what happens.- Sox Sign Bryse Wilson

Girthy, but he’s doing just fine…- White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
I wouldn’t touch Baty with a ten foot pole but I think you nailed it. If Robert can net us either a top SS or CF prospect, you do the deal. If he can somehow net both a SS and CF prospect, you accept the deal yesterday and nut in your pants.- Sox Sign Bryse Wilson
Haha, the life of a Sox fan. Trying to contemplate how a guy that signed for $1.05 million will perform.- Rate Field
Yes, the guys on The Score were saying this as well. Why not just make the full company name “Rate.com”? That way you are at least advertising your site, even if it is obvious.- CHGO layoffs...
I had zero idea either. I’ve only seen these guys on YouTube once in awhile.- Sox Trade Cash to Cubs for Matt Thaiss
He can run into some homers against righties. Maldonado style, but from the left side. He still has no bat.- Sox Trade Cash to Cubs for Matt Thaiss
Both Thaiss and Robinson are older backup catchers. Both traded for cash. Like I said, these guys are a dime a dozen.- White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
I’d rather trade for Kenny Powers.- Sox Trade Cash to Cubs for Matt Thaiss
Jamie Burke Chad Kreuter Martin Maldonado Kevan Smith Geovany Soto- Sox Trade Cash to Cubs for Matt Thaiss
Jorge Fabregas was traded by the Angels to the Sox in the Tony Phillips trade, which did not involve cash considerations. Josh Paul was drafted by the Sox, released in 2003, and signed with the Cubs before he joined the Angels in 2004. What do these two catchers have to do with what @Quin posted? - CHGO layoffs...
