Exactly, and then the Sox end up with the second and third tier free agents that you want to DFA after their first or second season (Keuchel, Benintendi, Eaton, Lynn (after extension), etc.). These guys are a long fall from Machado and Harper. I will never believe the Sox will spend the money they have freed up correctly.
