  1. Sheets should know he’s slow as molasses and not listen to the coach lol.
  2. Your boy is still stupid as f***. Short fly ball, LOL.
  3. Right here. He’s still terrible. Meet me in a month and I bet he has a .650 OPS.
  4. So all we needed to do was hire a hypnotist to make Moncada think every past season was a contract season and he would’ve performed. Too late now…
  5. Just assume the Sox haven’t scored and you’ll be fine most of the time.
  6. LOL, did anyone start a stopwatch for that inning of offense?
  7. This offense is an embarrassment to the MLB. Sox starters have to pitch shutouts to win a fucking game. Stone still pretending like it will improve.
  8. You have been talking about people not having any proof of anything they say. Yet, you have no proof to say that both Nastrini and Montgomery would have made the Sox opening day roster if Hahn was still the GM or if someone else was hired other than Getz. And here you are, giving credit to Getz for keeping them in the minors.
  9. Which once again should prove WestEddy wrong. Getz hasn’t developed s%*#.
  10. Getz took over as GM in August 2023. What about when he was Director of Player Development from 2017 to 2020 and Assistant GM from 2021 to 2023? I don’t see much returns for his 6 to 7 years of work before he was named GM.
  11. Yep, they are so disposable and replaceable. The only team that has shown interest in Shaw the last two seasons has been the Sox.
  12. Shields, Sheets, both terrible when they played and still play for the Sox.
  13. No one cares about Seby Zavala. He sucked and still sucks. Expectations are higher than developing a guy like Seby.
  14. It’s not about just one guy. The problem is that there isn’t enough good prospects to point to.
  15. Great question. It also ironically shows that Getz didn’t have faith in one of his own guys, his 17th ranked prospect. Leone, Shaw? These are guys that are lucky to have jobs and they would still be out there to re-sign at a later date.
  16. Fletcher should’ve played in this game, but he probably would’ve matched Brett Phillips’ 0 for 5, 5 strikeout performance.
  17. Lorenzen and Clevinger are #4 starters in their early 30’s making their final laps before retirement. You can’t really compare these guys to a 24 year old lefty with no miles on his arm who may be showing ace or at least #2 potential. Also, teams still give pitchers with past surgeries big money all the time. He won’t be cheap if he stays healthy and keeps it up to attempt to extend or sign when he becomes a free agent. But perhaps due to his injury troubles, he would be willing to sign an extension to set himself up for life. I doubt this would be a strategy JR would allow Getz to employ unless it was a big hometown discount.
  18. For the Clevinger haters, there was another option in free agency, albeit not as good as Clevinger.
  19. Houston will also receive a fifth and sixth round pick for 2025, but I still agree with you that a second rounder is too steep a price for Diggs. In other news, Caleb met with the Bears today and Odunze meets with them tomorrow.
  20. Yikes, keep Nastrini down there.
  21. The truth is just as embarrassing as ESPN’s mistake.
  22. Stick around for innings the Sox are pitching. Grab a new beer, check the grill, and take a bathroom break when they are at the plate, but you only have enough time to do one of these three things when they are batting striking out.
