That is my hope. Then let Rojas split time between 3rd/2nd/OF with Ramos/Sosa getting most of the playtime, but Rojas playing 3/4 or so times a week around the diamond.
He wasn't very good last year. I know you want to spin everything as a negative for Chris Getz, but this isn't some Kopech situation. It was crap for crap.
Remember when the O’s got rid of Eloy before the season was even over? I’m sure this happens quite often. Not everything has to be some colossal failure. It was an Aaron Bummer trade.
Yeah I think that's the play. Basically guarantees they can have a ton of success but you can still slow play. In that situation you'd see Schultz in back half of the year and Smith MAYBE make a couple starts for Charlotte.
I am not too worried about him trading up for an O-lineman. They will be picking 9th at worst, 4th at best. I don't see the need to do it. My fear is he goes pass rusher first (which would be fine), but then uses the Panthers pick on like a corner or something.
Yeah, they were obviously incredibly bad last year, but you need a lot of bad luck to lose that many games. Plus, didn't the bullpen blow like 35 or something games when they were winning in the 6th or later?
Not every move by another team is some incredibly calculated genius move. The Red Sox must have set themselves up incredibly well when they traded Mookie Betts, right?
Okay? Angels fans have never seen Mike Trout in the playoffs and just saw Ohtani win it the year after he left. Angels fans probably should be more miserable than us.
