Based on the mad libs you could play with this statement, it seems like a strong, smart hire from an organization who has been doing things right for quite a bit.
He's played a little first base but is primarily an outfielder. Isn't very good, but hopefully is taking Sheets' place even though he is right handed. New hitting coordinator must see something in him still?
It seems pretty damn obvious there is going to be a market for Crochet, though. The shine on Cease was for sure low at the time. The time to move him was the 2023 deadline.
