  1. Wunsch is an effective LOOGY (Lefty One Out Guy). If Munoz is converted to a starter, which I presume he will, Wunsch will only have to battle Sanders and maybe Ring for the second lefty position.
  2. Heh, gotta love the word "own". Garland looked very sharp today. Sinker was working very well, and threw a lot of first pitch strikes. Curveball was very sharp at times, as well. Stewart was iffy. If he can incorporate a cutter into his repitoire, he could eat righties alive with his funky motion. Curve looked OK. White just sucked ass, wasn't impressed at all.
  3. Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Coldplay. I've seen Radiohead and Sigur Ros in concert already, and I'm seeing Coldplay at the UIC Pavilion come June. Oh, happy days.
  4. Porzio blows. And no, I'm not basing it on this one outing, he just blows period.
  5. Prior is the real deal. His control is downright frightening, and his curveball snaps like a hook. Then throw in that he has an above average changeup, and he puts Buehrle to shame. Look at Prior's K/IP and K/BB ratios. In 116 2/3 IP, he struck out 147 f***ing batters. This is his FIRST year, and I really believe he will only become better. 147 SO to 38 BB = 3.9 K/BB Again, astonishing for someone essentially coming straight from College. Prior's WHIP? 1.17. Buehrle doesn't even come close to Prior in any of these categories, and add to the fact that Prior is a year younger than Buehrle. Don't get me wrong, I love Buehrle, but I'd take Prior in a heartbeat. He's going to be very special.
  6. Or vice-versa. Prior has a MUCH bigger upside. His stuff is flat out filthy, and knows how to pitch.
  7. Um, Prior in a f***ing heartbeat.
  8. Holt sucks? He led Division I in HRs one year. He basically had a two year slump in the minors, and finally broke out this year.
  9. Phillips was on the list last year. I believe Sager and Kirkland got in over Miller, though.
  10. That's why he was 26 and playing in AA. Also, Nunez is looking very solid.
  11. Gotta love your two aces pitching, then your closer who can light it up to 100 MPH. Also, Adkins pitched for Marte, who was having a tooth pulled or something.
  12. Get DSL. Cable is a b**** if you live in a very populated area. DSL speeds depend on how far away you live from your CO (Central Office). Usual range from CO to the maximum limit is roughly 18,000 feet. Speeds will depend on your wiring in your house, and how far away you live from the CO. With DSL, you usually get a pretty stable connection; around 680 down kbps for me (which is 80 KB/s, roughly). With Cable, you are on a shared network, unlike DSL which is your own personal line. The more people who get on your node, the worse your downloads will get. That is why Cable usually comes to a crashing halt at night because of people downloading stuff (porn). Check out http://www.dslreports.com to see if an ISP is available nearby. Hope that helps.
  13. CPU speed and computer specs don't effect download speed. Your modem speed, which is probably 28.8 or 56k from the looks of it is your problem.
  14. Look at Garland's ERA compared to Wright's. Garland has polish, Wright just f***ing sucks.
  15. Good to hear that Wright is still blowing chunks.
  16. Kevin, is your name Joe McCarthy by any chance? She has the freedom, provided by the Constitution, to do whatever to the flag, except burn it or, I believe, deface it. God forbid someone doesn't hold the same views as yourself, so we deport her.
  17. I joined. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE!!! SIGN UP!!
  18. I saw this a month ago in the Trib. If this passes, our civil liberties will be seriously revoked, and secret arrests can me made at will. Not a place where I'd want to live.
  19. Every team needs a LOOGY (Lefty One Out Guy).
