  1. you are sooo full of s***.............. how many teams are lining up to get you to manage. going into the season kotch was the closer, he was given opportunities to close the game and blew it. there was no misuse in that. why not answer the other points i am making????????? i know this is one of your days that you want to get under people nerves......... b/c you obviously do not know what you are talking about.
  2. Every team has the problems. Thats just a pathetic excuse Jerry probably likes to use. He has talent out there. In fact, going into 2003, the sox were known to have one of the best pens in baseball. JUST GIVE THEM THEIR ROLES AND KEEP THEM THERE................GEEZ, this aint rocket science. it doesn't wash, bmr. but what ever. It washes for every good manager with talent. WE just happen to have an average manager with talent. botch, white, and who is or can be the everyday #5 starter? cmon think before you talk. Let me spell this out for you. When players, or anyone for that matter, are used properly, they perform better. Rick White and Billy Koch have a history of being successful. and are you saying this season the reason for botch lack of success is all jm fault for not using him right? if i remember last week, you were saying he, botch sucks. make up your mind. white was given opportunity to pitch and when he did, he sucked it up. oh you are right, jm was really out there pitching right? white mention that jm used gordon and marte too often........... that was his b****. can you see the writting now............... or how bout that 5 starters............ how is that jm fault.

hey rex................ Q: Rex from Birmingham, AL asks: How can Neal Cotts not be getting a little more respect? He wasn't even mentioned on the Prospect Hot Sheet last year despite dominating in his previous three outings. He has since added another. His numbers for his last 4 outings are: 27.1 IP 9 H 5 ER 9 BB and 28 K. He has allowed only 62 hits in 106.1 IP on the season and has cut his walk rate way down from earlier in the season. His 131 strikeouts and .170 Opponents average shouldn't hurt him either. How is that not even good enough for the Other Prospects to Watch section of the Hot Sheet? A: Will Kimmey: Realize the hot sheet has just 12 spaces and their are nearly 3,000 players in the minors. He's getting love, I've personally written about the guy four times since the season started.

Q: Alex Pedicini from Cape Cod, Massachusetts asks: What is wrong with Joe Borchard? He is putting up very dissapointing numbers, especially since he was rated as the White Sox's number 1 prospect. Does he still have a shot at a starting job next year? A: Will Kimmey: The K's are the biggest part of it, and he's not really a CF, which makes it hard to crack the Sox lineup with Carlos Lee and Magglio Ordonez already out there. He's another former QB stalling in Triple-A because of plate discipline. See Drew Henson and Kenny Kelly as well. I think those guys lost some time developmentally by not playing baseball only and then were rushed through a bit because of their age and maybe even to justify their large bonuses in the cases of Borchard and Henson. I feel Jeremy Reed has a better shot at being the CF in Chicago next year, and Borchard either makes the club as an extra OF or gets a new home

again those bastards didn't answer any of my questions. but here is one on the sox and i am debating on the others. Josh from Chicago asks: Is Jeremy Reed as good as he's shown this year or is he a bit old for A and AA? Has he vaulted ahead of Joe Borchard, and does he remind you of Mark Kotsay in his skills? A: Will Kimmey: If he was a little old for high A, he answered questions by continuing to hit well after his promotion. In the last prospect pulse, Reed was the call over Borchard for prospect maven Josh Boyd. And I agree with him on most stuff aside from music and favorite baseball team. The Kotsay comparison probably works offensively, a guy who can hit for a nice average, adding a decent number of steals and maybe 10-15 jacks. Defensively, Reed isn't quite as solid or as good a CF as Kotsay. But he's an improvement over running Carl Everett out there. He should be the odds-on candidate for that gig next spring.

  9. if he had some pitchers there who could do the job. who is #5, how bout a reliever, a set up man, a long reliever? there is some problems and jm is trying to find the right combo.
  10. well lets hope that he is now starting to hit like he was suppose to do

you may very well be right about all what you say. we didn't pay for his contract, we are now in the playoff hunt and now he is stepping up. is he going to be here next yr, no. i will be happy for helping us in the playoff.
  13. to screw with him, maybe force a trade with hou or any other team who needs pitching, hou, stl, kc to name a few. question can the other player be a ptbnl

uhhhh they are very small, if you like that.
  18. in the beginning of the season, hardly anyone from the sox played up to their potential, now everybody is coming together and with that, if colon can get it together, he is a force.
  19. from his private collection of course.
  20. JR's a pud who don't give a s*** one way or the other. Let's see if he rewards Sox fans for showing up . I'm not counting on it depends on what you expect from him.
  21. if someone doesn't like someone, it doesn't mean that, that person should be crucified(sp) all the time. she has her reason and whether you agree with it or not, she is entitle to it. an attack on one poster like corn-ho does is cheap and immature.. ref to cw he just did what i would have done. in ref to cw opinions and what he posted before, let it die. he hasn't said anything more.
  22. Nah, I'm done sucking up to people like them, especially when people like Heather suck me....um...suck up to me. that was pushing the joke a little too far.
  23. agian this proves what i been saying for the last 3 yrs................. put the product on the field, and the fans will come. prob, is next yr is going to be rough, who to sign, who to trade.... etc....
