  1. Like someone else said already, this was a signing that could not be passed up and had to be done. KW knows to keep a good team he has to mix in the young guys too, McCarthy who would be a top starter in anyone elses rotation is going nowhere. The way I see it, KW lets the season play out and see what happens until next year. We have our insurance policy while still developing in the bullpen. My bet is either KW is planning on trading one of our starters later or is just signed Jose because of the deal and will wait until the year is over to make a decision...or he could be building a 6 man rotation for 07 haha.
  2. How useless, however interesting... now I will remember a few to tell some people...
  3. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 10:48 AM) A metric f*ckton of runners put on base by Marte were stranded by Cotts, Politte, Hermanson, et al. last year. Hell, our most memorable 1/2 inning of the ALDS was another reliever getting out of a jam made by Marte. Well while Marte did suck, wasn't that ump squeezing our pitchers big time that inning? I know ozzie was yelling at him when El Duque was pitching.
  4. QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 09:50 PM) Go during the week, lots of specials. Most places are about $10 to get in. I dont see a drink limit at most places. each dance is about $10 that lasts a song. You can have a fun night on 40 bucks easy. The couple places I've been at is 20 a dance...
  5. I might go out to the Anaheim series in april. If I see that my plans might not work out then maybe the Twins series.
  6. I always like hearing players reactions especially in this case with Logan being put in his first pressure situation and succeeding. Pods still might make opening day, hopefully he does.
  7. My first experience in a strip club wasn't that great. When I left I didn't see the big deal then I later went again to a different place and it was better. Just try to go to the best place you can at 18, but don't expect the night of your life...unless you have other plans...
  8. Yes I agree, nice.
  9. What about Brian Gorman!!? ARE YOU NUTS!!!
  10. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 02:22 PM) Ranch Shoes or Sandals? Noooooo! BBQ!
  11. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) Stalin? Waffles or pancakes Pancakes im surprised no one has mentioned these. Chevy or Ford
  12. ugh not again pods...
  13. Good luck to Graffy. I would also have taken him if we didn't have Cintron and Ozuna. Well maybe not with that salary... hopefully he finds something somewhere he is a good utility player and a good clubhouse guy.
  14. QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 09:24 PM) Can't wait to see frank get 500. Hopefully he will. I am rooting with you and every other sox fan...or most.
  15. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 08:23 PM) You know, all things considered, I'd still take a Healthy Thome over a Healthy Thomas. Is that judgment based on numbers or bias? Give me a healthy Thomas over Thome no doubt about it.
  16. It is so bad it's funny. AJ was horrible! haha
  17. I am sure the only thing he is worried about is getting that check. Texas robbed the Nats...
  18. The urinal seats more than the cell?? wow how many seats were subtracted from the renovation a few years ago??
  19. QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 10:29 AM) all of these injuries are really scaring the s*** out of me. It makes you realize just how lucky we were all of last season, considering the injury bug............and well everything else too. Yeah no s*** this f***ing sucks. We needs Pods and Jose if were gonna repeat. As far as Hermy... he's done.
  20. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:32 PM) Koch is still trying to get all the roids out of his system. BTW, we won the Koch deal by a landslide. Keith Foulke for Billy Koch and some minor league kid named Cotts or something..... but we lost Johnson and Valentine!!
  21. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:27 PM) If Kenny can swing a deal to bring a vet in here that we can count on for 50+ innings, and post a 3.40-3.70 ERA, I have NO PROBLEM with giving Logan a fair shot in the Sox pen. I just dont think the Sox can get away with Lopez AND Logan in the pen at the same time... This might make you happy tony...whats Koch doing right now?? If AJ and him can coexist maybe AJ can make him a better pitcher.
  22. This is his chance to make it. 3 seasons in rookie ball, if he doesn't take advantage now he might not get the chance again. Especially if KW swings a deal or two. I am rooting for him and Lopez...or whoever the f*** steps it up cause we need them now.
  23. Lol ozzie is pretty much saying f*** ST we got bigger s*** to worry about.
  24. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 04:39 PM) wow, 4 straight doubles. Ive never seen that before. Didn't the sox hit 4 straight doubles to start a game off a couple years ago??
  25. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Mar 11, 2006 -> 04:12 PM) I love early KMD (1990-1992) and Madlib (1993-2002) is one of my favorite producers of all time, but I can't put up with any of the stuff that they've been releasing nowadays. When Madlib fell off in 2002, I pretty much stopped listening to any new hip hop & I started focusing on dub reggae (1973-1975) and various other forms of reggae (soul, roots, etc). I think you're overreacting. Common's BE was great, Little Brother, Blackalicious. There's still good hip hop out. EDIT: I highly recommend People Under The Stairs if you're looking for good hip hop.
