QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Feb 20, 2006 -> 04:37 PM) Yeah, aisle five...right next to the man purses. haha...man I ask for some suggestions on where to get some new gel and I get made fun of.

Lately I've been trying to find some new hair products to do my hair, gel or pomade, but the stuff I've tried lately isn't working out. I've been using the cheapo stuff, but I need some suggestions if im gonna buy the more expensive ones. I have short and straight hair, any recommendations? Also where can I buy it? Keep in mind I want some healthy products. I've heard of stuff that ruins your hair or is really hard to wash off. I just need some stuff that will hold my hair for a good part of the day and let me do it the way I want it.

Maggs was one of my favs when he was here, but he chose the big money and he chose not to let the sox get a docter to see his real condition. You can't be too mad about that, they were clearly his decisions. I would have liked for him to be here too, but Dye filled in very nicely. Oh well...enjoy your money, I don't blame you for taking the payday, but enjoy your money and thats it.

Like last year Coop and Ozzie set the rotation up with who they wanted to go when so I expect the same this season. I have a feeling Ozzie might want Count at #2 just because of how great he was at the end of last season including the playoffs, but besides Buehrle #1 and Vazquez #5, its hard to say.

What a rip off. No thanks. I don't have any of the xbox systems, but I was one of the only people lucky enough to get a ps2 when they first came out and that was like $400 for just the system and a game. Looks like I'll be getting another ps2 before I get a damn ps3 (becuase mine is going bad.)

Just adds to the reasons to hate the scrubs. I hope him and howry enjoy their money cause they sure as hell won't enjoy losing. :fthecubs

QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 15, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) Speaking of the WTC tragedy... and I assume this will soon head to the other forum... has anyone seen this? I'm in the middle of it for the first time. Thoughts...? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5...&q=loose+change It's the first time I've seen it. He has evidence there to back his accusations, but its really hard to imagine if what he says at the end is true. Once again it makes you think... In particular those calls from the plane were very weird.

QUOTE(Jeckle2000 @ Feb 14, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) Serves you right for leaving all that s*** in your bag... I was raised in Gary, Indiana... Even now that i'm living in Montana their ain't a damn thing I don't keep under lock and key... Never carry more then ten dollars with you unless you actually plan on spending it. If your going to have an MP3 player or expensive s*** like that for christ sake keep it locked in the glove box of your car where no one can see it. Thats one good thing to growing up paranoid... You never have your s*** stolen... I don't trust anyone or ever leave anything laying around just like you, but I've gotten s*** stolen from me before. My freshman year in high school I was a theatre tech and even if there was nothing going on that day all of the techs would go to the auditorium just to hang out. Well I would leave my bookbag backstage and no one would ever f*** with it. Until one day I left it backstage and a few hours later came back because someone said they saw someone around our stuff. I go to my bookbag and I immedialty remember I left my cd player in there....sure enough my bookbag was open and when I looked in it, my s*** was gone. I was so damn pissed. Looks like I got a little too comfortable, I remembered that s*** until I graduated. You never mean for your stuff to get stolen, but s*** happens.

Sox visit to White House may be on Monday

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 04:54 PM) Anyone else pumped that Crede still has the same haircut? Umm... am I the only one whose noticed Cotts looks very weird with that hairdo? -
I feel bad for Borch in some respects because he is a hard worker. I really hope things work out for him. I also think that you guys shouldn't blame HIM for his signing bonus. Would you have told the sox "no no no, 5 million is too much?" I don't think so. Can you blame the guy for being a little upset? Give him a break wish the guy well and move on.

Congrats greasy.

QUOTE(SnB @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 03:32 PM) This has come up in conversations with friends every so often and everyone seems to have the same experience. -You spend forever learning it in grammar school. -They make you write in cursive until 8th grade. -No one ever uses it in High school or above unless for a signature. Though saying that, alot of my print has little forms of cursive in it. Yeah me too. I print all the time, but my print has some cursive in it...I have bad penmanship either way though.

Everyone has their own opinion. Some of you think it sucks just because of the crap you hear from the radio.

Ahh 18/27. I was surprised by Joey Cora having a Econ degree...ugh and I also didn't know about El Duque being a therapist.

Jagermeister. I was hanging out with some older friends on the 4th and I tried a few, a few too many shots that is. I don't know if it was because of that and one other night, but I can't drink hard liquor unless I have some beer in me.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 01:51 AM) Come on guys, your just ignorant to what a good "Brazilian Ass Shaker" sounds like. Oh, and for real....if you want good hip hop, listen to Common (especially older stuff), Nas (especially older stuff), and Talib Kweli. That is some good stuff, mixes smooth lyrics and delivery with solid beats. Common is great. BE was probably my favorite album last year. Not his best though as some think.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 08:39 AM) I still really like their CD's and listen to them, but due to their underwhelming live performance, no longer have them as "suggested hip hop". I saw them at Tweeter down in Tinley Park though, which is a spacious facility to say the least. I bet if I saw them again in a more intimate setting like a club or something, it would be a different story. Yeah I saw them there too and I think Outkast was there too. I am surprised you say it sucked, I have heard from a lot of people that they do a great show. The one I saw was pretty good, but the tweeter sucked and they were rushed through the entire performance. I actually met Chali 2na because he went through the crowd after their show. J5 is pretty good. If you want to listen to more underground hip hop try Cannibal Ox or MF Doom. Blackstar (Mos Def & Talib) is pretty good too.

QUOTE(GreenSox @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 12:37 PM) But that's not exactly the choice. How much does Contreras help us win this year? Some, but how much? And you can never guarantee yourself the world's series. I remember so many wanted to throw in any and all young talent to get the great AJ Burnett for a midseason rental. I have a different philosophy than many. I think you have a much better chance at rings if you give yourself more chances at rings, versus loading up a team for 1 year and trying to force a WS. With our payroll, there's no reason that we don't contend 7/10 years. And young players are a piece of that. It doesn't mean you constantly backtrack like Cleveland does and Montreal did. But with Jose, we are dealing from strength/surplus; the the loot is big enough, I'd take it. I definitley agree with you about making it to the playoffs lots of times gives you more chances to win it all, but KW is making a big run again at it this year. I do believe in Bmac, but he has not proven he can do what Count did for us last season. Which is why I think you don't deal him unless someone overpays.
-
Muwhahahahaha *coughs
-
Win another world series in 06 vs. getting some prospects for the future. I'll take winning another world series. Unless someone seriously overpays for Count he isn't going anywhere.
-
After 16 years with a team and so many accomplishments I am sure he wanted to stay and would have taken a deal with the sox like he did with the A's, but it just wasn't the best for the team. I am sure some of those close feelings of his were hurt and he just had to vent. I look at FT no less after reading that than I did before.

Lol that's hilarious.

Red Sox trade for Coco Crisp
Whitewashed in '05 replied to nitetrain8601's topic in The Diamond Club
Weird...The Crisp rumors for some reason popped in my head a few days ago. My opinion with the Indians this offseason is that they lost a damn good starter in Millwood and also a decent 5 starter in Elarton. They replaced them with Johnson and Byrd, while they don't suck, they aren't an improvement. They lose Howry and now they are going to lose one of their other good relievers. To me their offseason also looks like they lost a lot of pitching. -
Your Favorite Character From "Office Space"
Whitewashed in '05 replied to hammerhead johnson's topic in SLaM
Love all of them but I gotta go with Lumbergh. "Uhhh yeah..." The only reason I went with him was because I use his phrases the most. Like I said though their all great. "You don't need a million bucks to do nothing. Look at my cousin he broke don't do s***!" LOL...I can go on...
