Where are they now? Former Sox players of days past
I was bored today so I looked up Kelly Wunsch, wondering where he had gone after baseball. And voila, I found out: He builds homes, is a realtor and broadcasts some minor league baseball. He was always one of my favorites, so I am glad he is having ag reat life after baseball. Links below to his Linkedin (he actually lists baseball player, which I found funny) and his website. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/kelly-wunsch/6/690/607 http://kellywunschhomes.com Who else of days past do you have an update for?

The American was truly one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

I love Sale. But I am worried.

Come on Gordo, up the middle base hit. Get that up-the-middle, to-the-right side approach going.

Rios better get a good jump on AJ's double play ball.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 02:53 PM) I don't get it..it's like Ozzie only cares if they're in RISP, and doesn't see the benefit of getting a guy to 3rd with one out. Like we've said, Ozzie doesn't understand statistics at all. Maybe he understands, but at least doesn't care.

Sox @ Tigers
The one time we should have bunted and played for one run, we don't and we get K'd.

Good thing Teahen loves that grounder to second base.

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 6, 2010 -> 02:14 PM) Perry's going to keep throwing offspeed pitches since he has no command of his fastball. Hopefully Beckham crushes a hanger. When will he start going opposite field? That's how he was awesome last year and it's like all gone this year.

Sox @ Tigers
Bacon time for clutchness.

Sox @ Tigers
Swung at ball 3 and 4 there. He is such a freaking liability at the plate. Little power and no walks.

Sox @ Tigers
AJ just don't f***ing swing.

2010 AL Central Catch-All
QUOTE (CWSOX45 @ Sep 5, 2010 -> 10:16 PM) Incredible. Let me reiterate what I said the other day, I have never seen a team have so much luck in one season than this one. The cat walk homerun, the botched double plays by Detroit a couple of nights ago, and now this. Granted Minnesota is a good team, but the amount of luck they have this year has been off the charts. I just hope this luck runs out, because I'm getting sick of hearing about all their BS breaks. I will say this you create your own luck. Regardless of their fluky wins this year or the last decade, this year I can say they have the better team. Their offense is top of the line and they have a solid pen as always. They just don't beat themselves.

I am confident we will score today some runs, but we need Edwin to mitigate the damage. Leave 'em at two runs.

SOX @ Red Sox
I'd rather Manny still be up there. De Aza is gonna be going at some point, just hope he picks the right pitch.

Seriously. Alexei and AJ are just morons at the plate. I don't understand how a major league baseball player can walk 20 and 13, times respectively. Frank did that in one month every year, sometimes every two weeks. Now the pinch runner comes in. If he had been there in the first place, then Okajima has one more thing to worry about even if De Aza wasn't going to steal. Just the threat puts another element on the pitcher

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 5, 2010 -> 03:19 PM) Lillibridge needs to be running for AJP. We have Flowers on the bench in case Castro gets accused of a crime. Seriously WTF? This is why you have 15 catchers in September.
