Well the 3 PM press conference is already finished. In short, Sampson will be investigated for a week by AD Greenspan and a committee, and a recommendation will be given at the end to determine what the next step is.

Haha supposedly Bob Kravitz of the IndyStar is claiming Bobby Knight would be interested in coming back to IU, because the people who fired him are not here now. I find the idea to be amusing, but I hope that's all that ever comes of it. The only way I could support it, is if Sampson got fired before the year ended, and Knight was interim coach or something of the nature. But all of that is too insane to become reality. Also, another idea is having him return to IU in an administrative role.

Wow. I hope everyone on here from NIU is okay. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone at the school; I can't imagine dealing with that.

Though I believe none of what Sampson has done wrong has resulted in any of the players or anything we have on our current team, anything we do in March will be tainted. However, with this cloud over our heads, we're not going to be doing anything worthwhile anyways. Indiana needs to fire Sampson and Greenspan ASAP; that is the only way to begin purging ourselves of this mess.
