That is pretty damn funny but hay I have drank the Bears koolaide and right now it is tasting good. dont rain on our parade just because you are a colts fan
I'm not. It just reminded me of that with the caps on.

Four of the best players of this era, hell possibly ever, not in the Hall? That would be incredible.
Pete Rose isn't in the HOF either because he didn't follow one of the few rules MLB players have to follow. If those players can't follow them either, they don't deserve to be there.

And I wouldn't expect anything less from the best GM on the board.
Also, KW changed his views on Frank of late...

QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 3, 2005 -> 11:51 AM)
Now that this is out, I don't think NY or Boston would let Griffey get through waivers.
Would Griffey's no-trade play any part in this though?
QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Aug 3, 2005 -> 11:26 AM)
Reds are horrible.
Anyway, never know what else would've went down had this trade gone down. Maybe Carl or Paul would've been moved.
^That.^ Griffey would've been huge; I love what KW does. I wish the "seller" teams were able to go about business the right way this deadline. Maybe we'll get him off waivers.

He without a doubt deserves to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Bonds, Sosa, McGwire will all be inducted and all are just as guilty as Palmiero, if not more. Should these four guys, quite possibly four of the best players in this generation, not be inducted into the Hall of Fame?
Not if they're cheating, which you think they are by saying they're just as guilty.
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 11:19 PM)
We might all think a change should be made.....but Ozzie isn't changing s***, as long as we're winning games. I'm not sure I want either Rowand or Everett batting 3rd. Rowand hasn't shown me much of an ability at all this season to knock in runs. How long before someone brings up Huff in this thread?
Post 12.

Bobby Jenks.
Ah good call. I'd love to see B-Mac on the expanded roster until the Sox are done just for the sake of experience though.
Everett should be moved down; I agree with that.
This is going to end up turning into a tweak the lineup thread, and I just have to say one thing.
Pods and Gooch should be the 1-2 in every lineup that is going to be written out in the rest of this thread. Yes, Gooch could have better numbers in a different spot in the lineup, but he's the only one that's going to have the success rate and patience to do what he's done behind Pods this year.
With the exception of JG tonight and the Count against Baltimore, their numbers look the same has they have all year. It's just one night, no reason to overreact yet.
