Austin Bracket
And they can't count that, because?? The same bulls*** happened against IU, and they counted it. MSU and Duke 32-32 at the half.

Joe Sheehan of Baseball Prospectus rates Sox
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 06:48 PM) Over at WSI, a guy posted one of his articles from 2001, and, in describing the Mariners -- he called Ichiro a "glorified Triple-A hitter"... I found that a little funny. Yep, and that Mariners team won 116 games. They picked them to finish in 3rd place.

White Sox @ Brewers Game Thread
QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 04:18 PM) I still don't think Willie will be traded. Nor do I. I don't see us getting anything of value for the team for WH. Also, I still see Willie being an asset to have on the bench.

QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 11:39 AM) One other writer picked us to win as well, but I can't remember who. Was it the NBC people that gave us the good write up?

ILL------INI!!!!!!!!!!!
QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 01:56 AM) The Zona and OSU fans didn't seem to root for UWM over the Illini. During the second game, it seemed like Illini fans favored OSU over Zona, but not by a great deal. You guys wanted the whole place to be orange Saturday.

How many HRs will Barry Bonds hit this year?
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 12:47 AM) LOL! What the fans dont want is a lying, cheating, roid pumping whiny b**** like him holding the most prestigious of baseballs records. Exactly. Bonds brought this all on himself. I guarantee if a player like Griffey never got injured, and continued to hit HRs at that pace, everyone would be behind it. Bonds' persona and the roids, etc. make it very hard to root for him.
-
How many HRs will Barry Bonds hit this year?
Because the media and fans don't want a black man with the HR record....

Chicago Bracket
Zona wins a solid game 79-78.

How many HRs will Barry Bonds hit this year?
The latter 3 choices are each pulling 30% of the vote on ESPN's poll. I thought it was an interesting question.

Pro Baseball Central Radio Show (On Sox)
I enjoyed the show. As a Sox fan, when you hear of a show or somebody planning on talking about Chicago baseball, you expect the majority of the show to about the team on the Northside. It's usually "Cubs this, Cubs that, and oh yeah the Sox did this." You guys did a good job keeping it balanced on the show, and it seemed you guys gave the Sox their fair share of love. It was also cool hearing all of our questions getting answered.

ILL------INI!!!!!!!!!!!
QUOTE(Goldmember @ Mar 24, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) plus read an article about uwm/pearl. he made the very obvious yet good point that most likely uwm will be backed by most zona/okie state fans cause they'd rather play uwm than illini... Also, UWM does travel well, and they are actually closer to Chicago than the Illini are.

ILL------INI!!!!!!!!!!!
Like they were saying on PTI yesterday, basically all the students and players were between the ages of 2-6 when it happened. So it better not be all about Pearl.
