Man of Steel, I'm getting excited too, and I like our chances. However, the Twins are always a scrappy team. They're going to go on a hot streak in the season. Remember how great everything was going for the Sox until we got into September last season? We've got to play the games. We've been paper champs the past few years; what has that gotten us?

Well if he doesn't want to win, and be a part of this club, trade him. I know we can get something for him; I don't want any cancers here. However, I doubt that the scenario even happens that he's out of the starting rotation.

We played okay against Clev last year, but Detroit??!? Worst record in baseball, and we couldn't beat them. Being in contention has nothing to do with how well we play a team.

Exactly. I just hope Ozzie keeps the team grounded. They're getting so much respect right now. Ozzie does seem like the right guy to do it though; he just went through this same thing with the Marlins last year. Damn, I'm so giddy right now.

Ha yeah. I still recommend renting it or something. Everyone knows "the story", but it's good to see it. One of the friends I went with, went into the movie without seeing the first. She didn't like it as much because she felt a little confused.

It's necessary to see the first one, unless you know the story. It's so true to the comic books.

I saw it tonight. The reviews were right; this movie was AWESOME. It was so much better than the first. The only bad thing I can say about Spiderman right now, is that the next movie won't come out until 2007. Everyone see it.

Didn't he start in 94 and 96 too? I know he was voted when it was at Coors in 98 too, but he was injured.

I only am able to see the boxscore since I missed the game, but it looked like he gave up a couple of runs. But we finally showed Freddy what it's like to get run support. Even if he doesn't have his best stuff on a certain night, we can show him that we're still able to win the game.

That locks us up so bad though; Pitt's not going to pay enough of it. I like our chances of signing Freddy now, but what about Maggs, E-Lo, Jose, etc. this offseason? We wouldn't be able to do much to sign guys.

Yeah....The Sox, Cubs, Hawks, and Bulls are all leaving FSN Chicago to make their own channel to increase profits in the fall.

I just doubt the Cubs would drop him; usually changes are rare in broadcasting. Who knows though since the Sox, Cubs, Hawks, and Bulls are all making that new station.
