It was weird, I forgot all about Howry until watching that Sox-Cubs game on Classic yesterday. And today he's getting signed to play in the majors again. Good stuff.

I missed the game because of work, and this is all I was thinking about. "Ah, the game's just about to start." "I wonder if we're winning." "I hope Buerhle can shut down the Twins." "I hope I come home to a White Sox winner thread!" And that I did!!! Way to go Chicago White Sox!!!!

That's great that he stated he would rather sign an extension. My opinion on this trade keeps getting better and better, and the thought that we CAN sign him to an extension is excellent.

I'm quite content with that list. I'm looking forward to Schoenweis' return. I feel he'll come back off the DL pitching the way he started the season. I also agree that Jackson will be gone once Scho's back.

That was a great article. It really shows what can happen...good or bad. It's an interesting read, and it really makes you realize some things. This team has had the same solid core for a few years now, and it's been successful. However, it's not the success that gets you anywhere. I'm just excited to see how this pans out.

That's greatly put it into perspective. I was iffy on it yesterday, but as the hours went on, the more I end up liking this trade. This trade was necessary for the success of the ballclub. We needed a SP, and KW got the best available.

I don't know who's broadcasting the game, but I like them! They just mentioned the trade for Garcia, and the guy said he "understood this trade will be good for Seattle down the line, but the White Sox have just won the AL Central with this trade."

I think he'll end up with an even 10 wins in the Chisox uniform the remainder of the season.

It's just typical. Cub fans always claim the Sox series means absolutely nothing, but I only hear them say this recently, since we're always winning the crosstown series. I wonder what these same people would say if the Cubs ever win the season crosstown series..... But anyways....I enjoy being 1 up, and them being 5 back. Wasn't it this same way last year? The Cubs were in 1st place before we met them, and they ended the crosstown games in 3rd place.

I'm hoping we can Garcia for cheaper, but yeah, I only look into this deal if we know we're able to keep Garcia. Jones' kind of scares me; I haven't heard great things lately. All I hear that he's on the decline. However, I like the point JReed brought up. Greg Walker could probably help him get back on track.

I'm quite surprised that yesterday wasn't the biggest, especially with there being an increase in members. It was close though, but yesterday had so much going for it.
