If I were a fan it would've started with trading Skubal. It's the we can't have nice things,

we somehow think the farm system is stocked. It's not since they brought up a lot of guys but no stud pitcher in that bunch. The Sox are not in the same league where you can be like the Dodgers trading guys in the minors who could play elsewhere.

I guess they look at it as just needing to field a position. Adding outside catchers unless they are real veterans is risky handling pitchers.

This had L written all over it before the game began' The forfeit lineup with Schulz on the mound.............. This is a team slump......they haven't had a real one yet but maybe this is it. Plus you don't have seasoned managers or coaches either.

Sometimes that also have to do with others in the lineup. Vargas and Mune not doing well either.

Most of these guys have barely been in the big leagues for a year. Hard to believe they've been in 1st place for so long. Hopefully it doesn't turn out like the 1st year under Ventura

Other teams have struggled in this area. The D'Backs has this issue last year and MCann was playing AA, It worked out for them. Funny how all of us felt this team was strong at catcher in the offseason.
