I wonder how many responses can exist without someone bringing the word "trade". It's a trademark of some fans and it's not exclusive to Sox Talk. When it's about a successful player the word "trade" is doom and gloom. It pees on enjoy the moment.

This is Sox fans being Sox fans. Always betting tomorrow will be better. We don't have masterminds in scouting since we often rely on other teams' prospects. This is what losing teams always do. I wonder what it's like for other teams wanting Sox prospects and willing to give up a good player. I'm exhausted as a fan with this approach. I've often wondered how long Frank Thomas would have remained a Sox in the current organization. The Brewers are the model in baseball. Not everyone can be like that. Everyone is like that with no World Series. I know everyone can reply with something rational but emotionally I'm tired this organization mimicking the Marlins or Pirates.

Might be my new team dependent on how the Sox deal with the deadline. I live in their area. I'm tired how this organization is. The talk among fans is always about trading to make Birmingham better. We are not use to having nice things. Every successful player the Sox have doesn't take but 3 seconds about trading them. The D'Backs make far more effort to keep their players. They are underdogs in a tough division. I'm not too far from cashing out on the Sox. They continue to recycle the habitual losing small market blueprint that has only worked for 2 teams and only the Brewers really have done that the best.
