  1. How does Ken Williams compare to Ron Schueler in terms of being able to sign the players he drafted?
  2. http://www.jockbio.com/Bios/Gagne/Gagne_bio.html The White Sox also drafted Brenden Donnelly, Joe Borowski, and Bob Wickman.
  3. I'll forgive you on the "whole," but Mark Johnson? He sucked, and was with the Brewers minor league system last year!
  4. Score reported that the Reds made an offer to Odalis Perez. Why did they even bother with Milton (let alone overpaying for him?)
  5. He mentioned that how it happend about 2 weeks ago, but Ofman and Levine are now saying the Sox have renewed interest in AJ.
  6. The moderating is much different here, and the average age of the poster is much less here.
  7. I'd rather post at a board moderated by someone who is a fan of my team. The MLB boards are terrible, and I took a quick glance at the ESPn boards yesterday, and I don't understand why anyone wastes their time on either of those boards. :headshake
  8. :banghead :dips*** Tell your story elsewhere because nobody here is buying your bulls***.
  9. Why not? Your current act is getting you nowhere, and you're upset about it. solution: GET A NEW ACT!
  10. Judging by your birthday, I'm guessing you have never seen "In Living Color." Wayans Clan + Jim Carrey>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dave Chappelle
  11. No they haven't. We are one of the few teams who can beat the Yanks in the Bronx over the past few seasons.
  12. I guess the only logical explanation is that everybody is wrong and stupid! :rolly :rolly :rolly
  13. He said KW did talk to him and didn't think he would be a fit, but there is renewed interest in him.
  14. This board is going to need another upgrade if Anthrax's ego continues to grow on a daily basis. :headshake
  15. says the Sox have renewed interest in AJ Piersynski. Original offer for that Japanese second baseman was only $1 million at the winter meetings.
  16. He says he talked to some close people and feels that the Sox getting Javier Vazquez is a long shot, and the D'Backs would have to eat $4-5 million per year on his deal.
  17. All I had to do is go back to the original thread about us signing him. Here is Anthrax's first post in that thread: but now it seems that he hates the signing, and probably hates Luis Vizcaino. But hey! I thought you can never have to (sp :rolly ) many dependable arms in the pen.
  18. Since Hermanson became a reliever: 27 IP, 22 H, 11 BB. 28K's, 4.33 ERA (if you don't count that meltdown on the last day of the season it would've been around 3.00,) a WHIP of 1.22. He only had 4 bad outings.
  19. Yeah read the article in your link; I assume since he exercised it for us, we have the team option on him.
  20. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1686888
  21. According to dugout dollars, it's a team option for $5 million or a $500,000 buyout. http://dugoutdollars.blogspot.com/2003_08_...rs_archive.html
  22. I think Hermanson has been spending more time on his sideburns than his goatee. I have a feeling he will pitch much better than Rocky Biddle.
  23. I'm hoping Everett goes on a tear like he did in April of 2003 before Frank comes back so we can get more in return. Right now he doesn't have much trade value, but if he plays like he did in 2003, I'm sure a lot of teams would be interested in him with a price tag less than $4 million (along with a team option for 2006.)
