Way to steal all of the thunder from my thread. I just saw the bottom line on ESPNEWS for MLB, and it only mentioned the Armando Benitez signing. They're going to talk about Pedro after the break.

Brian Kenny and Peter Gammons were talking about the free agents market for pitchers . They talked about how s***ty the contract was for Benson, and the huge deal Benitez got. Peter also talked about Pedro, and some how Wright's name got mention, and Peter talked about how he would probably get a three year deal, and that the Mariners were after him. He then mentioned how he has just heard that the White Sox are after him and they are close to a deal. The graphic under Peter than changed to "Wright near deal with White Sox." I want to say Peter said he expects Wright to get $6 million a year, but that was before he mention the Sox being interested him.

That makes no sense either!! You attack people when they argue against you, and then you'll post "Can't handle the truth" when people make their points and respond to your attacks. Noone agrees with your bulls***.

Yeah, Peter was on RIGHT (or should I say Wright? ) before that. Maybe he'll be on SC. He also thinks that Pedro WILL end up with the Mets because Pedro would like to take advantage of the NL, and the fourth option year is what will keep the Red Sox from signing him.

He's a former scrub too. IIRC, in one at-bat he managed to toss his bat into the crowd at Wrigley TWICE. He was promptly booed after the second toss.

He's also a former Indian, which means he'll probably sign with us unless SF offers a 7 year $81 million dollar deal for him at the last minute.

We have 2/3 of an OF right now, and we can use the difference between Colon's and Garcia's salaries to sign an outfielder. We also recieved two draft picks for Colon signing with the Angels.
