  1. My bad. I knew it was in New York and just assumed it was the Yankees I guess. I did know his name was Tim Bishop though, because my sister got the "Tim Bishop scholarship"
  2. Yeah, we had two guys go to ND last year. They were freshman this year, Jeff Smarjdzia and a kicker whose name I have forgotten, something Goia. Also, the RB for Yale went to our school, Matt Handlon. No major leaguers went to our school, but there was one guy who was a prospect in the Yankees farm system who went to my school, Valparaiso High School, and was killed in a car accident. The "experts" had him making it to the big leagues.
  3. I hope they don't check my Biology classroom. We are disecting rats now, so there are rats everywhere.
  4. Same with me. I never would have guessed..
  5. Nope. I'd rather play MVP all night. I just know some people that are going and that they beat Concord this afternoon. I hope they win and go on to state.
  6. Look in the MVP thread. I think someone gave details. As far as I know, there aren't any yet. But apparently there will be an update sometime soon, but you will need a sharkport to dl them.
  7. I thought he was on the Cubs, just because he was on the Cubs, like you said, on MVP. Maybe the cubs and espn just haven't updated their rosters.
  8. Oh. You're lucky to only have that many kids. We have about 600 in each grade so about 2400 overall. It's the biggest in our area and everyone hates us because our sports are awesome. For example, boys bball is in the regional championship tonight, gymnastics won regionals last night, girls bball lost in semi-state, boys and girls soccer both made it to regionals, volleyball made it to regionals, and both boys and girls xc won state. (Our system goes sectionals, regionals, semi-state, state. I don't know how it is in Ill.) And I know swimming and diving did good and had some people go to state, but I'm not to sure how you judge swimming teams. Our worst Varsity sport this year was football (they lost in the sectional championship) but they have made at least semi-state the previous 3 years, and were state runner ups two years ago. So as you can see, our Varsity sports are very good and competitive. I hate it!
  9. Southsider- Are you going to the Valpo vs. Laporte regional championship tonight? I just thought you might be going since it's in MC. It's not college, but it should be a good game. Valpo is 21-2 and LP is 21-3. They both lost to each other once during the regualar season.
  10. I think they should convict her and Joe Crede's wife.
  11. My dad watches OC Choppers all the time. I watch it on occasion. Not bad, but not my favorite.
  12. How big of a school do you go to? Ours is a class 4A, which is the biggest for baseball in Indiana. Over the past 10 years, our program has the best winning percentage in the state. So a freshman on our Varsity is a rareity. Maybe one every three years. None this year, and our class went to state two years in a row in little league. Those are some reasons why I would like to go to a small school where I could maybe be on Varsity or at least JV.
  13. Haha, they pitched Zambrano that much? And I guess we didn't have many starters in from what I've read. Lol Baker is a dumbass.
  14. Are you sure that you still aren't?
  15. Can someone sum up what happened please? Because I was sitting at the golf course for a f***ing hour waiting for my damn mom to pick me up. I missed the whole game. All I know so far is that we lost.
  16. I feel your pain. My tee time got pushed back from 12 to 1 today so I'm probably going to miss it all. Isn't tomorrow's game televised though?
  17. I have a game on opening day. I won't even be able to watch it on tv. I'm pissed off.
  18. Personally, I loved the movie. I can't wait for the sequel.
  19. Bah. By the time I get home from golfing, around 3:30 all the starters will be out.
  20. I actually got to watch it in one of my classes. Even though I don't like IU that much, it was better than doing school work.
  21. My first game isn't til the 6th of april. We have been practicing like crazy lately, today we had practice from 5:30 AM to 7:00, and tomorrow we have it from 8-12. A four hour practice! And to top it off, my coach was in the Marines so he is really strict and makes us run a lot. I just want the games to start already. Hopefully I can be a starter, there are 7 guys going for about 3 or 4 spots in the rotation. I also play second like you.
  22. I gave up pop and any other beverage that is not water or juice.. Not much of a sacrafice, but I'm such a good person so it doesn't matter.
