  2. My last traffic accident was back in 2000 like 2 days before Christmas. I was driving northbound on Pulaski near Daley College bringing my mom home from shopping somewhere when some retard in an SUV makes a left turn with no regard at all for oncoming traffic and plows into my front end. Idiot drivers are everywhere!!! I was fine afterward but my car was totaled and my mom got her ankle broken. My parents sued and won 50 grand but her ankle is still messed up to this day. That was one hell of a way to spend Christmas let me tell ya.
  3. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 04:04 PM) After the Cincy game, Chad said Vasher was real good, he also said "I love you number 31 and I have whole new respect for Mr. Vasher." Chad gave him real nice praises. Does that mean that now they go golfing together using end-zone pylons as clubs? LOL!!!
  4. QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:32 PM) Nuke, you can launder that Hillary check through me, so your buddies don't know you're backing a Dem LOL! Since I like to view Hillary as the Anti-Christ at that point you can have me committed cause you will know I'm clinically insane.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 01:32 PM) And seemingly, 72% of those responding to that CNN poll are also. I expect nothing less. Those polls are meaningless.
  6. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 01:28 PM) http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2005/12/5/234519.shtml more at link Thats about right. Howard Dean is a piece of s***.
  7. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,177807,00.html I died laughing when I read this.
  8. http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/12/06/dean.iraq/index.html Typical drivel from this blowhard idiot. Guys like this would have quit on WW2 because it was too hard, would have quit the Civil War because there were too many casualties and would never have fought the Revolutionary War because it was too difficult.
  9. http://www.northcountrygazette.org/article...5PumpJudge.html This was too damn funny.
  10. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:19 PM) Bears 21, Steelers 17. Bears get 14 points on defense :-P. That wouldn't surprise me one bit. I bet the offensive touchdown they get is scored after a long kick or interception return.
  11. QUOTE(Texsox @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:18 PM) Did you get the canned phone call from the Chaney people? They (DeLay) needs money to fight the desperate Dems. LOL. The fact that we have two opposing forces that do battle is a whole lot better than a one party system. I can't think of too many Monarchy and single power source countries that do very well for very long. Usually the world community (US) has to come in a kick some ass and fix that situation. I dont give political parties any money anymore. All that accomplishes is getting them to call you constantly nagging you for more.
  12. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:14 PM) Perhaps, if the Democratic Party would stop with the sound bytes and stupid emails of how bad the Republicans suck, and actually come up with practical solutions, they wouldn't have to b**** about the Republicans being in power. What a concept, eh? I hate our government. Thats the exact reason why the Democrats will not be in power again any time soon.
  13. QUOTE(timotime @ Dec 4, 2005 -> 08:52 AM) lets not and say we did :puke Theres some serious crack pipe passing in this thread. You guys amaze me sometimes.
  14. QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 01:21 AM) Boras will not get much for crede unless he produces... people need to start realizing this. It is fully possible after what we saw the last couple months that crede can out produce dye... ( think he can within a couple years) but it is also fully possible that he hits in the .240's again. Much as I hate Crede I have to hand it to the man, he was awesome in the playoffs.
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Dec 5, 2005 -> 11:26 PM) Well...that's definitely a lot of money but I think Cleveland thinks they're ready to compete for a championship this year(though I don't) and having a rookie closer step in at the beginning of the year isn't exactly the best way to go about things if you want to win this year. The Bobby situation last year was a bit different cause he came onto the roster as the last man and earned the closer spot or atleast proved he was capable. Very much agreed though that it was a bad move to let Howry go. Cleveland is peaking at the wrong time for them. Theres no way they're gonna be able to stay with the Sox who are instantly better than last season with the addition of Thome.
  16. QUOTE(LDF @ Dec 5, 2005 -> 02:28 AM) can someone tell me what he isn't really an option if we can't get mueller. NO!! JUST NO!!! SAY NO TO NO-MAH!!!!!
  17. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:53 AM) How do you expect people to take you seriously when you are such a homer................. your Prior/Zambrano would be a 5th starter at best for the White Sox..... You're right. Prior/Zambrano would probably be behind Jizz and Marte on the bullpen depth chart.
  18. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Dec 6, 2005 -> 12:49 AM) Now cmon quit the Vasher hating already..... At the begining of the year I was right with you he isnt a very good coverage CB but he makes the big plays.... But this season other than making big plays he has also been pretty good at shutting down his guy. Look at the stats nobody but the guy Tillman is covering has many yards if any at all. I know he is greatly helped by the D-Line pressuring the QB but so far he has been a good CB in covering his guy and making the big plays. That being said he isnt DPOY.... Tillman typically gets burned once a game for a big play. On the other hand though, that blindside stick he put on Brett Farve yesterday has forever earned him props from me. That was totally brutal! Edit: Speaking of Brett Farve I was watching Monday Night Countdown this evening and in Tom Jackson's JACKED UP! segment Brett made number 1. I about pissed myself laughing.
  19. QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Dec 5, 2005 -> 11:33 PM) Titanic Maybe the Titanic was more merciful on the people who died than first thought The movie was awesome.........totally underrated. The ending where the ship was sinking and all the people hanging onto the rails started falling off and bouncing off of stuff on the way down was priceless.
  20. Eagles got smoked like a cheap sausage tonight. Get those tee times ready for Florida in January slackers! HAHA
  21. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,177753,00.html Hopefully the rest of this Democratic vendetta against DeLay can be dispensed with quickly.
  22. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Dec 5, 2005 -> 04:27 PM) Bears @ Pitt will be by far the most difficult game the Bears play during the regular season (including upcoming games). Pittsburgh (despite a little above avg record) is one of the best teams in the NFC and Big Ben should have his timing back. Its going to be a hell of a challenge for Chicago. I like our chances in this game. Pitt is coming off 3 straight losses and Rothlesburger has a bad thumb. The defense puts a few good shots on him early and it could be a long day for Pitt.
  23. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Dec 5, 2005 -> 04:11 PM) unfortunately Price doesnt play quarterback Why dont we call up Erik Kramer or Jim Miller and see what they're up to?
  24. I say BEARRRRRRRRRRRS 20 Steelers 10 Rothlesburger gets sacked at least 5 times and the Bus is held to less than 75 yards rushing. Defense scores one of our touchdowns and sets up another.
  25. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Dec 5, 2005 -> 01:48 PM) I still have my friend arguing with me saying "yeah, but he wins games" "8 wins in the NFL" Bulls***....they are winning in spite of him. Bears don't even need a good quaterback, they need an average quarterback and Orton isn't even that right now. Those 3 & outs are gonna kill us eventually. The defense will wear down without rest. The '85 team won with a stellar defense and a good offense. Jim McMahon wasn't the greatest thing going in 1985 ( except for them shades and that headband ) but he got it done and when he was hurt then Steve Fuller was there to pick him up ( then there was that Payton guy ) . Fast forward 20 years and we have all the same elements in place except for a decent QB and if anything kills us this season thats going to be it. You hit the nail on the head when you said we're winning in spite of him.
