  1. There's no way Minny should be in this game after all that's happened. They've caught a lot of breaks so far and they need to take advantage.
  2. Jeromiah Trotter is a f***ing beast today! Picks off a pass to set up a Philly touchdown half a sack, numerous tackles. Oh wait.......Big break for the Vikes. Philly appears to have fumbled out of bounds in the end zone. Should be Minny ball at the 20 after the review.
  3. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 01:46 PM) It just pisses me off when people bash Moss just because they don't like him. There is no reason, they just do it for the hell ov bashing Randy Moss. I bash Moss because he's an overrated hot dog who shows up when he feels like it and takes whole games off when his heart isin't in it. About the only thing he ever did right was stick it to the fudgepacker fans last week.
  4. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) If you watch the f***ing replay you can see that he was gonna stop but people on the sidelines told him to f***ing come off! It is obvious. Aren't we chippy. You have money on the Vikes or something? LOL! I just love it when people get mad about nonsense like this.
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 01:39 PM) Maybe that's because Moss wasn't told the f***ing play. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't just walk off the field during a play. But he did commit the worst sin, pretending to pull his pants down. So I guess I wouldn't put it past him Actually I thought the mooning thing was hilarious. Too bad Moss is overrated and his greatest contribution to this game is 1 catch and a botched fake field goal.
  6. Eagles f***ed up big time. They have 10 seconds, no timeouts and they throw it short of the end zone & over the middle. Time ticks off & half ends.
  7. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 01:24 PM) Where you there? Perhaps they didn't tell Moss the play... How do you know? Cuz Joe Buck said said? Joe Buck hates Moss so much, his opinion doesn't matter. Maybe you just have it out for Moss so bad you can think clearly. Or maybe they showed what Moss was doing during the play while Frerotte was looking for him. Dumbass.
  8. Vikes f*** up a fake field goal........score reamins 21-7. Eagles can blow it open before halftime now. Moss f***ed up big time. He was supposed to go out for a pass and instead he jogs off the field like a moron. Now he's chillin there like nothing is wrong.
  9. I'm defenitely pulling for the Eagles. Not because I like them that much but because I f***ing despise Randy Moss.
  10. QUOTE(backman @ Jan 15, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) you gotta give it to the jets they came the closest to knockin big ben off his high horse. this game really didnt matter seeing that the indy pat's game whould decided the superbowl champ! If their kicker hadn't choked at the end of regulation they would have. The steelers are going down next week guaranteed.
  11. Vikes aren't doing a whole lot to stop McNabb and his passing attack. It's now 21-7 Eagles. No TO? No Problem!!!
  12. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 11:50 AM) I have a feeling it will increase but if it stays that way will totally depend on how they are playing. If they win a lot then the fans will show. If they can get off to a nice start and keep it going they'll have big attendance all year. The key is for them to make people believe that this team is for real.
  13. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 04:32 PM) Maude was by far one of the funniest sitcoms of the 70s with Florida Evans (from Good Times) as the maid. I thought Sanford and Son was funnier.
  14. Boeing wasn't counting on the 747 being around much longer anyway. They are banking their future on the new 7E7 which is supposed to be a far more fuel efficient plane.
  15. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 01:33 PM) Yes because Jesse Jackson never did anything to help the black community apparently. He is. Nobody. Jessie Jackson does far more harm than good with his "blame whitey first" attitude. He is creating a false impression among black people that there is a vast white conspiracy against black people and that society owes them something. This is wrong, counterproductive and hurts black people. It is not 1950 anymore and institutional racism is long dead. The fact of the matter is that Jessie Jackson is a selfish asshole. He plays on the disadvantages and fears of the black community to consolidate his power and influence. Thankfully though people are seeing through his charade and he is losing his place as a dominant figure in the black community.
  16. And your reasoning for your choice if you would. I say Indy simply because they have too many weapons and NE is too banged up in the secondary.
  17. QUOTE(Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 02:20 PM) At 2:00 pm they reported Aaron signed a 2 year plus mutual option for a total of 8 milllion. Congrats to a guy who worked every step of the way and deserves his success. Here's to continued success in '05 and '06
  18. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) And more violence in 3, 2,... This is a move designed to force the Palestinian leadership to do something about militants and it's the right move. They've been dragging their feet on dealing with homicidal militants for years & that has to change.
  19. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 11:27 AM) I believe many of the approaches we are trying are wrong. What approaches are these?
  20. QUOTE(Texsox @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 11:31 AM) The courts have already decided that smoking and drinking are ok :banghead illegal drugs are not. This is a tough ethics quagmire, that I cannot sort out. It is easier to take a black and white approach, and perhaps that is why we have so much division on abortion. Any sort of in-between approach seems hypocritical at some level. I have no issues with abortion in cases of rape and incest ( a morning after pill can deal with that easily ) or in order to save the life of the mother. My issue is with people who use abortion as a last-ditch effort at contraception. That's wrong in my view.
  21. If you want to hear a prominent black tell it like it is then listen to Bill Cosby. You're all familiar with his recent speeches, i'm sure, in which he encourages black people to stop blaming "whitey" for all their problems and get their own house in order. That's the message they need to be listening to rather than to blame their troubles on some fictitious racial conspirasy.
  22. QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 09:17 PM) OK, then post 10. Edit: Oh and please make sure they involve an individual's expression of religion and not a clear case of government institution of religion. Oh, like a firefighter placing a nativity scene in front of the firehouse? Or some kids singing Christmas carols in class? God forbid some jewish guy or muslim drives by and sees it or its lawsuit time. Rediculous. That provision was intended to keep the government from establishing a national religion such as was done in Europe in those times and it's now being used by the ACLU to stamp out any celebration of Christmas. You'll never hear about them suing to stop Jews or Muslims from displaying their religous icons in public places though. You conviently forget that the same part of the Constitution provides for the free expression of one's religion, a fact which you convieniently choose to overlook. More hypocrasy.
  23. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 08:48 PM) I would gladly post every instance of them suing to stop the expression of the Christian faith but the post would be about 100 GB's.
  24. QUOTE(winodj @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) Could you show me some proof of where the ACLU is trying to ban Christianity? Cause I'm willing to believe I'm gonna find more cases of the ACLU supporting religious freedom than I am of the ACLU trying to suppress it. How many times have you heard about them suing over christianity? I could go to infinity. How many times have you seen them sue over displays of Islamic or Jewish or any other religion? I probably could count them on 1 hand hand still have fingers to spare.
