  1. http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/10/28/...ives/index.html I think you're a bit premature, or highly selective, in your evidence gathering there Perry Mason. The video shot was inconclusive according to......... "Michael Lysobey, a former U.N. weapons inspector, told CNN it was unclear from the videotape whether the barrels contained the high-grade explosives. Because al-Qaqaa was a depot for explosives, the barrels and explosives caps on the videotape are "what we would expect to see."" ........... Point...Set....Match indeed. Come see me when you find some real proof.
  2. Fallujah is a small city of about 200K which is about 35 miles to the west of Baghdad.
  3. Its easy to do a partisan hatchet job on someone when you have the guys own words to back you up.
  4. Why should John Kerry or his leftist surrogates be worried about whether something is true or not. If he can potentially use it to carp on Bush he'll do it, factual evidence to the contrary be damned.
  5. Because its always best to go out on top. Theres no more records or significant milestones to be broken that are within his reach so why bother.
  6. No matter who wins on Tuesday I'll be glad that this mess will finally be over with. I am so sick and tired of the election debate that every time I see some talking head on TV i just want to throw something. I'm sure most of you feel the same way.
  7. No. in 1987 there were no live balls and the quality of pitching staffs was far better than it is today. There's a reason why nobody could top the 50 HR plateu for all those years.
  8. I think the crack deal was Ohio too. The guy handing out the "goods" was with the NAACP.
  9. Half price nights do tend to draw out a lot of riff raff. I went to a game last May against Texas and there were 4 fights in the stands. Seemed like every time Texas scored a fight would break out. Some of those security people were kinda winded toward the end of the game & there was one brawl near the RF foul pole where a couple of drunks were landing some really good punches on each other and Kelly Wunsch, who was on the mound pitching, just stood there for a minute or so watching the action. It was hysterical.
  10. BRAVO Paulie! The final nail in the coffin of all his detractors on here that said he was done for after a bad half a season last year.
  11. I'm really happy for Foulke. The Sox got totally ram-rodded in the pooper over this one and now the pitcher that KW and Jerry Manuel thought was washed up and couldn't hack it is about to get a WS ring. That deal is one of many HORRID deals that KW has damaged this team with. If Foulke wanted to do something funny he'd take a photo of him with a closeup of the WS ring and send copies to White Sox Management just to rub it in their faces.
  12. That would rock! I know the odds are totally against it happening especially after Boston already doing it but I think I'd probably laugh like a madman for a week straight if it did.
  13. Gov Bob Taft of Ohio was on CNN Tuesday morning and told his interviewer that in 4 counties there are more people registered to vote than there are voting age people living there. According to the Governor there are a lot of fraudulant registrations from leftist 527 groups that have been caught due to the fact that when the confirmation postcard gets sent out to the "voter" it comes back undeliverable. Its criminal activity like this which makes it that much more important that Federal Judges in several states have struck down provisions requiring so called provisional ballots to be counted.
  14. I kinda doubt that but the more that comes out about this story the stupider John Kerry looks for trying to make an issue of this.
  15. According to a Fox News report the IAEA reported to the U.N. that the Iraqi's were moving explosives out of the facility in February of '03 and when the 101st Airborne showed up there were no IAEA seals present on the bunkers. After viewing a file picture of how those bunkers were secured I nearly busted a gut laughing. They were "secured" with a padlock and a rail seal. What that means is that anyone with a pair of bolt cutters could walk in there and take whatever they wanted. Bottom line is that with the vastness of Saddam's arsenal it was utterly impossible to secure it all in a timely fashion. Its not like he had the stuff in neat little piles on the side of the road waiting to be picked up. So far we've secured or destroyed 400,000 tons of military ordinance and John Kerry is trying to make a campaign issue out of a number which amounts to less than 1 tenth of 1% of what we've taken care of. Add to that the fact that it was already gone when we got there. Just goes to show how petty John Kerry's criticisms are getting. As I said earlier, if this story impacts anyone negatively it will be Kerry himself.
  16. Just because he can get all the pussy he wants doesn;t make him a great president.
  17. I also was glad to see the ESPN article a while back talking about how the Slacks were the worst run franchise in pro sports. Anything to spread the word beyond CHicago about what a prick this guy is.
  18. How does that work? Bush is ahead by an average of 5 points in most national polls. He's up by something like 4 points in Ohio and in Florida he's up by 8 points in the latest CNN poll. I know polls dont mean a whole lot but I think he'll be fine on Tuesday.
  19. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,136572,00.html This is a very reasoned asessment of the situation with loose weapons in Iraq. Based on personal experience this is very accurate as well. During my stay in what is now the "Green Zone" in Baghdad my unit found enough weapons, ammunition, explosives, land mines and other assorted military equipment in an area of 5 square miles to fill up a storage facility that was about the size of a football field and 2 stories tall.
  20. I have to go with Da Bears because their offense is about as exciting as watching a snail do the 100 yard dash. Poor Urlacher, wasting what could be a HOF career on a team that cant score 21 points to save their own damn lives.
  21. As long as that cheap prick Dollar Bill Wirtz is in charge the Slackhawks will be a total crap team. All Dollar Bill needs is 8000 or so people to show up and drink his beer and watch his s***ty team get pwned in their own building by powerhouse teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets and he'll continue to make a profit and the cycle will continue. Dont get too wound up about guys like Tuomo Ruutu Slackhawk fans because as soon as he asks for a contract hes worthy of Dollar Bill will balk and he'll end up playing for Colorado or the Rangers. Seems to me like the Slackhawks are becomming the Montreal Expos of the NHL. They develop franchise players every now and again only to ship them off just as they enter their prime.......(Roenick, Belfour, Amonte ring a bell?)
  22. DOVER, New Hampshire (CNN) -- Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry railed against "the unbelievable blindness, stubbornness, [and] arrogance" of the Bush administration Monday following reports that 380 tons of explosives are missing in Iraq. ......and in other news......... In Washington, Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry's campaign said the Bush administration "must answer for what may be the most grave and catastrophic mistake in a tragic series of blunders in Iraq." "How did they fail to secure ... tons of known, deadly explosives despite clear warnings from the International Atomic Energy Agency to do so?" senior Kerry adviser Joe Lockhart (search) said in a statement. .......but wait............ http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/10/26/...ives/index.html Looks like Kerry, in his quickness to find something to pin to Bush, rushed in before he had all the facts. Hasn't the left learned anything from Dan Rather? This will backfire on Kerry.
  23. Advocating vote fraud and assassination are views of a "respectable" paper according to APU. If they were for offing John Kerry or disenfranchising convicted felons then he and every other leftist nut out there would be stomping up and down demanding action.
