Based on what is in our division that's not saying a whole lot.

Also in no other major sport so the players carry potential weapons around with them everywhere they go. There is such a high probability for cheapshots that the players have to be able to police themselves. I dont know abuot you but I'd think twice about whacking someone with my stick is I knew some enforcer type was going to want to kick my ass on the next shift. The last thing hockey needs is to become an ice ballet. That would alienate the fan base even more than it has been already.

Pulford and Wirtz arent satisfied having destroyed hockey in Chicago for money, now they want to destroy the NHL for money. These two are way out of control.

Both of those measures you mention are absolutely necessary IMO. Expansion has diluted the talent pool so bad its like watching 20 minor leauge teams and 10 pro teams out there. Salaries are out of control and the only way to rein them in is to make a cap. However, the NHLPA wont go for either of em and its because of that we wont have hockey next season.

That is soooooooo true. Mac Jurko & Harry are a refreshing change of pace from most of the crap that goes over the radio airwaves.

That shows that NY hockey fans have class. But that happens a lot of times when an opponent gets hurt and gets back up.

The NHL is about to have the final nail driven into its coffin. So sad that my favorite sport will be the first pro organization to fall victim to money and greediness.
