QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 11:04 AM) We'll see if that is true this year. I don't think the fact that he sat behind David Greene, the winningest QB in college football history says he can't play QB. But Richt has put him in on every third series or so for the last two or three years and he's always made the offense stall. He's not very good at all.
-
Shockley can't even play QB in college, so he'll definitely have to switch.

I saw Jones play a few times in college, he's one of the most amazing athletes I've ever seen. As the article said, he runs a 4.40, he's 6'6", has a 40" vertical. There's no reason to make him a TE or a RB. He played basketball at Arkansas too, the man has hands. He's gonna be good. Just read more of that article and see what other people said about him; Nick Saban, Lou Holtz, Sylvester Croom, and Ron Zook included.

QUOTE(1549 @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 06:07 PM) Alcohol is so dangerous, its a shame that things like this happen. I haven't had any since I got drunk over christmas break. my girlfriend walked into the kitchen at the house we were at just in time to stop me from drinking a bottle of robitusson I had in my hands. God knows what would have happened if she wasn't there to pull it away from me. You probably would have just puked it right back up all over the floor.

Al Jefferson had a verbal commitment to Arkansas, not Mississippi State.

QUOTE(SuperSteve @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 11:26 PM) I didn't say that...I just didn't like him including himself as part of the team. That's true, for a minute there I thought he was actually on the team. We can't have that kind of confusion.

QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 07:10 PM) Ignorant post of the day. And the funniest part is it came from someone in Kentucky.
-
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 09:59 PM) I gotta root for Kentucky. Sorry D. Speaking of which I was all excited because the guy that turned me into a sort of Kentucky fan, Travis Ford, got a big time coaching job at UMass Yeah, they finally did something right.

Cool stuff. Hopefully everything goes well.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 10:24 AM) Was she singing "If I Had A Hammer" while she did it? Or maybe "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"? Or "Hammer To Fall" by Queen??? You missed the most obvious one... Stop, hammer time. I shouldn't joke about this stuff but I can't help it.

QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 23, 2005 -> 12:36 PM) Bulls***. Sheesh, calm down. It was an honest mistake.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) We could call it "The Love Shack" Seriously I think it would be the funniest forum on the site. Hell, we could charge for tips make some profit. We had a forum like that.

I heard a couple of the ads last week (AM 1000 came in all the way out here at night), the Podsednik/girlfriend one and the "don't throw the ball back" one. The latter one was solid, the former, like you said, was kinda disturbing.

What's with all the in baseball lately? First McGwire, now Bonds. I'm beginning to think Tom Hanks was wrong.

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 01:15 PM) Spiff, i agree Davis doesn't always play to potential. I also agree Williams is better. However, i was arguing his post that read "davis=randolph" Obviously "davis=randolph" is false. Randolph is a bust, Davis at least shows flashes. Most of my post wasn't directed at you, but at the recent arguments in general. It's just that I quoted yours to begin with.

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 21, 2005 -> 10:22 AM) What?!?!?! Paul Davis, when he plays to potential, is a damn good basketball player. Randolph, on the other hand, is lucky if he finishes with more points than fouls in a lot of games. Seriously, some of these biased posts are ridiculous. The problem is that Davis rarely ever plays to his potential. These past couple games he has, but it hardly makes up for the rest of his career. The reason that Williams plays more minutes is because Davis has a tendency to loaf, which results in bench time. So you can't just project eight more minutes worth of stats and then say he's just as good as Williams. His minutes are fewer for a reason. Shelden Williams is better than Paul Davis, but they're both way better than Shavlick Randolph.

95% of the internet is stupidity caused by accidents. Just look at this place.

Oh you might be right it might have been the shoulder but I'm pretty sure it was an outfield slide/dive type deal.

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Mar 19, 2005 -> 03:21 PM) On another note, I've never seen a player whine as much as Morrison did today. He had 1 freaking foul called on him the entire game and he was whining about that one throwing his arms up in the air. I used to respect him as a player when they compared him to Larry Bird, Larry Bird he is not. I saw that play, I thought he was trying to make sure they called it on him, because he didn't have any yet, rather than one of his teammates.

When Bautista got hurt it was because he slid (in the outfield, I'm pretty sure) and tore up his knee ligaments. Nothing steroids would cause.

5:40 ET. So you're a little early.
