I'm not gonna tell you guys again to cut it out. There are people here who surf at work and school and posting pictures like that is not acceptable. Knock it off.

QUOTE(TheBlackSox8 @ May 9, 2005 -> 10:15 PM) I could take it off if you have a problem with it.... Get rid of it.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 10, 2005 -> 08:44 AM) This is the most true thing ever said in the history of Soxtalk, and internet message boards in general. haha, I have no misgivings about why we're all here.

QUOTE(CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 10, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) I wish I'd see what you just wrote more often from a lot more people. Make your point ,admit there's 2 sides to every argument and quit beating a dead horse. If people did that more often this place would die from lack of interest.

Amare travels as much as anyone I've ever seen. He just palms the ball and takes four huge steps down the lane. -
That bastard Luft stole the slogan from my blog.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 9, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) Bulls acquired Piatkowski, Harrington, and Reiner. Suns acquired Nash and Richardson......Bulls win with less. Skiles got raped. They won less with less.

The 0-2 pitch wasn't a strike.

QUOTE(BlizzardOfOzzie @ May 9, 2005 -> 07:34 PM) Speaking of starts, didn't the 1987 Brewers start something ridiculous like 23-0 or something like that? I think I recall something like that, although I know that team failed to make the playoffs. Anybody recall? 1987 Brewers started 13-0. What would Ordonez have meant to the Tigers

I guess that's why you don't build your team around people who are injured to begin with. -
QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ May 9, 2005 -> 01:49 PM) So what if it is monday afternoon Well, I probably shouldn't show up to a 3 hour class in that sort of condition.

The 1928 Yankees started 39-9.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 9, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) Guinness Stout Doctor's orders. Honestly Guess the doctorate finally came in handy. Good call, I like the Stout more than the Draught too. In fact, if it wasn't a Monday afternoon...

The Yankees' compulsion to have to outdo everyone, especially Boston, has really hurt them lately. Contreras was terrible there; getting A-Rod from Texas meant that Boston kept Ramirez (WS MVP) and Nomar, and they eventually parlayed him into a deal for Cabrera and Mientkiwicz. Overpaying for Jaret Wright was stupid, signing Giambi has turned out horribly, and now they are old and slow.

Nyquil is really the only thing I ever take, but I could live without it. When I do take it, it's fun, but I think I'm developing a tolerance.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ May 8, 2005 -> 11:01 PM) When you consider that those terms don't really affect your performance at all, I think you have to pick overrated. I personally greatly prefer having my performance be thought of as better than it really is than have it be thought of as worse than it actually is. I don't see the benefit of "underrated" in the real world. Yeah, exactly. I'd rather be overrated. Underrated doesn't really get you anywhere.

QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ May 6, 2005 -> 01:38 AM) So what? I've seen Rex f***ing Chapman go off for a s***load of points in the clutch, along with like a million other guys. It happens. We've already gone over the many reasons as to why Antoine Walker is a sucker. One game ain't gonna change s***. When you say that Antoine is more valuable than Jermaine O'Neal, that you ain't talking. It's the Jack Daniels. To all the kiddies out there, and you know who you are, this ^^^ is how you come back with a stinger of a post. Learn from this. -

And oh by the way, who's calling Antoine value-less now? 13 of 22 in 4th/OT. I'd rather have him than Jermaine-I-shut-down-in-the-clutch-O'Neal. f***in retards. -

QUOTE(redandwhite @ May 5, 2005 -> 11:26 PM) The NBA is doing all it can to get a Detroit/Indiana rematch. ^ What he said....But I never doubted for a second that the Celts would pull through. It's just in them to persevere. -

QUOTE(qwerty @ May 4, 2005 -> 03:39 PM) Really time to bust out this little guy... You like him and you are very, very, biased towards him, i get it. Yeah, ok. Way to counter my argument with nothing. -
QUOTE(T R U @ May 4, 2005 -> 12:37 PM) Then how bout you dont look at it and maybe you wont see it? How bout you shut the hell up and I won't have to listen to you?

Well it could be worse; it could be your girlfriend and some other guy.
