  1. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) I still would rather have the Wimperoo. Amen to that. I don't even think Wimpy was that great of a color guy, but he had great chemistry with Hawk. I miss those two together.
  2. I don't dislike DJ. I just find him kinda boring and I don't think he offers a whole lot. He's nowhere near as bad as Joe Carter, but I think he leaves a lot to be desired. Farmer can be a dope with some of his rants, but he knows his stuff and he appears to mesh well with Hawk. But what do I know.
  3. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 08:33 PM) I'm gonna go out on the limb here...I think Pods is gonna steal second. or not. Iguchi grounds into DP. Inning over.
  4. I'm gonna go out on the limb here...I think Pods is gonna steal second.
  5. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 08:23 PM) I wouldn't take too much from it -- Vazquez isn't really effective down in 'Zona, he can't throw that curveball. It sorta just hangs up there... Well, if it's a 'Zona thing, he might have some problems this year. He won't have the luxury of leaving once Spring Training is over.
  6. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 10:19 PM) I guess it is officially a lock now. Ozuna is our man. I think it's safe to say that Pablo won't be #66 much longer. Yay Pablo!!!
  7. QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) Up your butt, Jobu! I think the Sox could use a good Eddie Harris speach before the season starts. By the way, this park sucks. It looks like they're playing at a junior college field.
  8. QUOTE(BHAMBARONS @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 09:25 PM) How does Buehrle look today? Not terrible, but they're hitting him. I ain't worried about him. He looks healthy, and if thats the case, expect the usual this year.
  9. "Hey bartender, Jobu needs a refill!"
  10. Somebody pays way too much attention to Mark Prior's calves.
  11. Just noticed that we are playing at Hi Corbett Field. Pedro Cerrano hit some monster shots here. Still have visions of Willie "Mays" Hayes dancing out in front of the park.
  12. QUOTE(soxman35 @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 05:45 AM) acts and kicks For a brief moment there, you were making me sympathize for Cub fans. Thats an amazing achievement.
  13. QUOTE(soxman35 @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 05:25 AM) hey u did have me for a little but i am glade i know the truth thank god. Your posts are making my head hurt. :banghead
  14. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 11:21 PM) On another sidenote Hawk got really pissed off at DJ on the top of the 3rd when DJ was talking about the cutter. Had no clue what was Hawk's problem but he seemed really annoyed. I think they were joking around. Hawk said he hated talk about the cutter cause if he faced it in his day, he wouldn't have standed a chance. So, DJ kept bringing it up and Hawk pretended to be irritated. It was actually kinda corney.
  15. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 10:42 PM) i cant wait till spring training is over. Can i get a hell yeah for the regular season! Hell yeah! I've enjoyed having all these games on TV, but I'm completely sick of exhibition play. Time for the games to count.
  16. Johnson with a HR off of Shingo. We need to get the f*** out of Arizona.
  17. 3rd hit for Iguchi down the left field line. Run scores. Iguchi thrown out at second trying to stretch it into a double. Dumb move, but Gooch sure seems to be coming around at the plate.
  18. QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 08:45 PM) fun fact: Hawk's career batting average was .239 Another fun fact: There was once a player named Johnny Dickshot. http://www.baseballreference.com/d/dicksjo01.shtml
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 08:40 PM) Just once I wish that dude would jump off of that slide and beat her ass. "Don't make me come up there." Grrrrr.
  20. At least it wasn't that damn Joan Cusack commercial with the dude on the slide. "He won't get off!" God, that makes me nuts!
  21. Anybody's TV just go to commercial in the middle of action? Ok, we're back and all the sudden we're tied.
  22. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) First Iguchi then Uribe with solid plays And then Crede.
  23. QUOTE(ptatc @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 08:24 PM) If I hear Garland say " I did my job" after a loss, like he did so many times last year, I'm going walk over there and sit him down myself. Please don't. We've had enough problems with fans on the field.
