With the exception of the "sliding like a girl" comment, he's had nothing but good things to say about Carlos. The only player he really trashed was Maggs (and you can make an arguement that it was for good reason). Point is, I think our players aren't that sensitive, and know Ozzie well and have come to enjoy his crazy ways.

The team doesn't seem to have a problem with Ozzie's mouth. So why the f*** would I? I like Ozzie alot. He says a lot of stuff I don't necessarily agree with, but you take that from a guy like Ozzie. It's not like we didn't know that he'd be like this. I for one find him funny, and his aggressive, yet laid back attitude (if thats possible) has rubbed off positively on the team. And yes, I'd say the same thing if we were 4-13. If that were the case, it would most likely be due to poor effort...and Ozzie would be the first person to call out a player if that happened.

I'll start caring about these little squabbles when it starts costing us games. Since it's not and most likely won't, they can b**** at each other as long as they want. Personally, Ozzie makes me laugh when he gets on goofy rants like this.

WGN radio reporting that Nomar's groin muscle was completely ruptured. Surgury likely. Out at least 3 months.

I can't stand Steven A. Smith. When he's on, I always get the feeling that he's yelling at me. Dude needs to take it down a notch.

Even if cold weather was a ligitimate reason for Nomar's sucking, hasn't the weather been great the past few weeks? Nomar will eventually play better, but to blame his failures on the newly discovered poor spring weather is absolutely rediculous. Here's to more comedy from the boys at Baseball Tonight!

I find it funny that the Trib felt the need to publish a rebuttal to Ozzie's comments. I guess he hit a little too close to home.
