  1. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 03:01 PM) Wow. I can see someone just not liking it but to think it is the worse films must have sucked very much for you. Im surprised because I really liked it. Why was it so bad for you? I've explained it before. I thought it was a cluttered, boring, random piece of garbage. There was zero point to the story and it was plain old awful. The people I know that liked it (not on this site cause I've given up even discussing it here cause I realize my opinion differs and thats cool; I like plenty of movies that other people hated too) simply because it had great effects. Great effects with a crappy story means nothing to me. In fact, I was hyped up thinking it was going to be great and I think my high expectations made my overall hate for it that much greater. I'd put Transporter 2 on my list but the movie was so freaking terrible that it would make its way on my top 5 list because it was seriously the funniest movie I saw all year. There were a few other movies I saw that I hated, but I can't think of them right now.
  2. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 10:02 AM) Carolina has an identity crisis. You never know what team is going to show up. Even though Carolina looked like a totally different team that they did earlier, they still played a horrible Giants team that would make any team look that good. The Bears are also a better team now than when they beat Carolina. As seen by the Palmer injury, an injured QB has a huge impact on his team. Grossman is huge factor. Carolina could put 8 or 9 guys in the box every play, and the Bears still won. This time there is no way they can do that, which will free up the Bears running game. I actually hope the Panthers try to stop the run because they will get burnt by the deep ball. So yes the Bears can reach the Superbowl, and if they get there, they actually have a good shot at winning it. Could this be a repeat of 1985 (Bears - Patriots)? Kitna's better than each of our starters at this stage of the game.
  3. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 12:58 PM) lol Spiff, that comment from him just makes me want to punch him in the mouth. Marcus just might be the dumbest man on earth at this moment, that or he has serious mental problems, and if thats the case, I hope he gets help. The funny thing is that from what I've heard his bro isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed either, yet aside from the whole "Ron Mexico" thing, you never hear anything about him. Kiper mentioned that he was grading him out as a 6th round selection but said he wouldn't be shocked if someone grabbed him earlier (kind of like the whole Clarett getting drafted a lot earlier than people expected). Vick = Deuche
  4. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 11:06 AM) Star Wars Episode III Jarhead War of the Worlds A Lot Like Love Four Brothers Fantastic 4 Kingdom of Heaven Wow, two of those movies I enjoyed quite a bit (Star Wars and 4 Brothers). War of the Worlds was solid while Jarhead was decent.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Jan 6, 2006 -> 12:21 PM) These are hilarious. I had a presentation in my insurance class and used some of those jokes from that list about a month ago.
  7. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jan 9, 2006 -> 07:16 AM) knows about Midnight Yell Voted for the right person for president
  8. Anyone of these 4 teams can make it to the superbowl. Although I really have my doubts on the Skins. They are just too beat up.
  9. QUOTE(fathom @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 07:54 PM) Why would you take Vazquez over those guys? Unlike Vazquez, the other Sox pitchers have proven that their numbers won't inflate due to pitching at the Cell. As of right now, I'm just as confident in McCarthy as I am Vazquez. I know you like Vazquez, which is fine. He has dynamic stuff, and can go a lot of innings. The great thing about this is that we're talking about 6 very good pitchers....not many teams in the last few decades can claim the same thing. Considering the financial aspect of Vazquez. I'd take the other 3 (Mac, Contreras, and Garland) over Javier if were talking about the better pitcher. That said Mac is obviously unproven still, but he's cheap and we control his rights for a while and he's pitched tremendously at the major league level in his young career. Personally I would be more than happy having Chris Young still in our system. I can only hope Vazquez learns to become a man and stop complaining and whining. Garland doesn't have the stuff Vazquez has, but he's been rock solid, is younger, and has pitched sucessfully with the Sox (as well as in the post-season), while Contreras hands down has some of the best stuff in all of baseball (far superior to Vazquez, who doesn't have near the stuff he once had and its why the Yanks for the longest time thought he was hurt prior to dealing him).

Comissions can go anywhere from the full 6% (3 of which goes to the listing agent and 3 of which goes to the selling agent) and can be lower. Typically I'd say if you did it for 4% your doing pretty good with the listing agent taking 1.5 and the selling agent at 2.5%. However this is based on my experience in California and I'm sure comission prices vary by area. If the homes are less expensive than my guess is the full 3% (at least for the selling agent) is standard. Also, if your listing the house with the same agent that helps find you a new house, typically than you can do it where the listing agent gets 1% cause they will also get around 2.5-3% when they find a new house for you. Hope that helps. It made sense when I wrote it, but who knows if it makes sense when ya read it.
  12. Likes Seinfield.
  13. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 05:47 PM) Look whose back in the 8 seed in the East. Must win tommorrow vs. Toronto. Are you kidding me? If the season ended today would we really be the 8th seed? If so, thats pathetic, but I'll take it. Still I need to see this team play consistently like it did the past two nights.
  14. Have you two seen the movie? I haven't and I don't plan on it, but I don't know how you can definitively say its a piece of crap without watching it. It doesn't interest me one bit but to say its horrible is another story, especially since I've never seen it, nor will I. I never saw Titanic either.
  15. The Steelers turned it on in the 2nd half. I so hope they knock off the Colts next weekend.

  17. He's gonna be a 1st or 2nd round selection unfortunately. What a freaking prick.
  18. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:53 PM) Well when they first came to be they got that one stud guy from the Jags who was apposed to anchor the line.... but than he could never come back from injuries so that kind of screwed them... and than they have just been using draft picks on other positions.. QB, WR, CB... If I had a build a team from scratch id start on the O-Line and the D-Line... they dont get as much hype as the other positions but in my opinion they are the most important part. Ya, Boselli not being able to get healthy really hurt him. Man was Boselli the freaking man too. One of the best OT's I've ever seen, but injuries cut his career short.
  19. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:17 PM) Unfortunately, that didn't help Kordell's QB development, and I wouldn't do that to a guy like Vince who needs a QB coach to polish up his motion and reads immediately. Vince would flourish in a place like New Orleans, with Deuce in the backfield, and Horn/Stallworth out wide, that offense would be a better version of Atlanta's attack. Not to mention the large NO fanbase from Texas. I honestly don't see a chance of Reggie Bush/Vince Young being the top 2 picks in this draft, no matter who is making the selection. Scouts will be in for a treat when they see Bush, Vince, and Mario Williams do their thing in the combines. Ya, thats seriously the last thing I would do. You need to let Vince make adjustments and if you plan on using as a QB, dont 'have him messing with other stuff, just focus on the QB position.
  20. As a Bears fan I'll say one thing. This is a far better Carolina team than the Bears played earlier in the year (although Carolina was on a big winning streak when we saw them). The defense is playing great and they have realized that a semi healthy Deshaun Foster is there best back (with the ocassional dose of Gowens).
  21. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:07 PM) Looks like Eli inherted the Manning family playoff gene (and this is coming from a Giants fan). :banghead I haven't even seen him throw to Shockey (although I've zoned out as this game has gotten worse and worse).
  22. QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:08 PM) Tennessee doesn't really have a choice, since they pick after the Saints. They will end up taking whichever QB the Saints don't pick. If for some reason the Saints pass on a QB (can't see that happening) than Chow is gonna push for Leinart but if McNair is back he will be pushing and pulling for Young.
  23. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:03 PM) http://www.southsidesox.com/story/2006/1/7/103541/0773 The Sox. They thought they were giving up too much. Gracias
  24. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 8, 2006 -> 12:01 PM) It was on the side of Cheat's blog yesterday. A guy heard the rumors about this deal last week, and he said Levine was on the radio yesterday saying the deal was nixed. Cool beans. Who nixed it? Sox or Phils
  25. Eli is continually playing worse and worse. His season has gotten crappier and crappier and now its accumulated in one giant piece of crap game in the playoffs. Why oh why did I give the Giants any credit. I should have remember how bad Eli has played the past few weeks (especially in terms of throwing picks). He just got a PI call to take away a pick but 17-0 drubbing thus far.
