I'd think that Valdez will move to shortstop, with Dransfeldt replacing someone like Bobby Smith at 3rd.

Lumsden and Gonzalez Make Their Debuts; Other News By Jason Gage June 22, 2004 FutureSox.com Left handed pitchers Tyler Lumsden and Gio Gonzalez both made their professional debuts. Lumsden, who was sent to high A Winston Salem earlier in the week, and Gonzalez, who was sent to Bristol, both pitched out of the bullpen. Lumsden pitched two innings of perfect relief in a 6-3 Hogs win over the Frederick Keys. Lumsden didn’t allow a hit and struck out three. He will likely make another appearance or two out of the bullpen before moving to the rotation. The bullpen is a way for him to ease into the professional ranks. Lumsden will likely join a new look Warthogs rotation, one that will likely contain a promotee or two from Kannapolis. Brandon McCarthy is the Intimidators' pitcher most deserving of a promotion. He is 7-5 with a 3.93 ERA in 13 starts. What the stats don’t show is that McCarthy’s ERA is due to a couple blowout starts. Other then those games, McCarthy has been dynamite all season, especially recently. In his last three starts McCarthy has compiled a staggering 29/1 K/BB ratio. On the season he has 96 strikeouts in 81 innings of work, while allowing 20 walks and 70 hits. While Lumsden pitched terrific in his two innings of work, Gio Gonzalez wasn’t going to be outdone. Gonzalez was one of the lone bright spots in a 11-3 loss to Pulaski. Gonzalez pitched an inning of perfect relief, striking out all three batters he faced. Gonzalez will likely move to the rotation in Bristol before moving up to Great Falls or Kannapolis by season's end. Another draft pick made his first real splash. The Sox first round pick, Josh Fields, made his debut a few nights ago, but he had his first professional hit on Monday. Fields went 2-4 with two singles, one of which was an infield hit. In other news top prospect Jeremy Reed left yesterdays Knights game after colliding into new comer Wilson Valdez. Reed initially stayed in the game following the collision, singling in his only at bat after, but eventually left. He had x-rays taken, and FutureSox will inform you of any update on his condition.

At least not any time recently. When I saw him he was anywhere from 87-90. This was last year. His knuckle-curve is flat out filthy though, that I can verify.
-
From what I know he has yet to make his decision. I've been trying to find out more about it.
-
I'd say Munoz and possibly Anderson. You could see Reed or Borchard in their because of name recoginition though ahead of Anderson although neither has put up the numbers deserving of it. But Munoz is probably a pretty good shot.

Personally I think Rauch has finally stopped babying his arm and is going all out. I think Kw's reaction kicked him in the ass and told him, either pitch your ass of or get the hell out of the organization. I Think Rauch has never thrown like he was healthy and now, finally he's going out and letting the ball fly without any fear for his arm (knowing his back is against a wall). Maybe it results in him reinjuring it or maybe it just resulted in him getting his old stuff back. I've heard numerous times that some pitchers flat out refuse to let it lose, they always baby their arm in a sense after seriously hurting their arm.

When I was seventeen...I had my very 1st beer.....

I was talking to two people on aim and was like we traded Rauch and they said, keep reading .

Now now, I was confused at first. I was thinking it all made sense. Rauch moved, Munoz replacing him in Charlotte. Then I went on to finish the thread. I also edited the topic

Happy Bday to the creator of the online league. Hope you have a great bday SoxnBears and maybe the Sox can find their 5th starter today

The part where Gretzky gets dropped in the movie is hillarious
-
Vince Vaughn is hillarious. Only good part about the 7th inning stretch at todays Cubs game. On a sidenote, Mulder is the s***. Was sitting behind home (lucked out on getting the tickets) and holy smokes was he filthy. I thought I was gonna get drilled by a bunch of fans when I decided to be a smart ass and yell Sosa sucks. After that I kept my mouth shut, LOL.
-
s***, that is right, King has just dissapeared. Let me ask what happened to him. I never got anything emailed saying he went down.
-
I would trade Reed for Crawford in a heart beat.

First off, just want to say its great to have ya in the Sox organization. Now some questions: What major league player did you idolize growing up and what major league player, if any, do you think you are similar to. Do you have some ideas of things you have to work on now that your in pro ball? If so, what are they? How much of a surprise was it to be promoted all the way to high A Salem to start your career? To me its quite the accomplishment. Have the Sox told you much about what they see for you in your future?
-
I'm guessing he will go to Great Falls simply because he is still pretty raw for a college player. He seems like he has some high upside though and I wonder if the Sox are actually going to give him some time to DH. Personally I think its best to let him concentrate on pitching.

Bham on the 16th/17th or at least thats what it looks like. We'll be in Atlanta probably the day before that just messing around. When I get back home I'll look up the exact dates, but we get in like the 8th and see 2 WS Games, 2 Kanny Games, 1 Charlotte Game (DH Though) and then go down to the Atlanta/Bham area.
-
I'll just go around yelling Cubsuck and see how effective that is
-
Cool...by the way did you figure out whether you need ot make a reservation just to go to the Yard Sale? Cause I'm gonna be there at 9 tomorrow and then I'll go to that grand stand sports thing. I just want to see what US Cell looks like with the renovations.
-
Cool, hopefully wherever the wedding is at has a TV so I can catch an inning or two while taking advantage of the open bar
-
I'm pretty sure Baines and Fisk wore those jerseys and for some reason I remember Ozzie in one of those jerseys. Speaking of Sox stuff, where would be a good place for me to stop in downtown that would have boatloads of Sox crap. I want to pick some stuff up since they got nothing where I am. All I have Sox related is a Sox spring training T-shirt and an old old Sox hat.

What channel is the game on in the Chicago area? Thanks

I'd say Majewski has the nod ahead of Baj or they could go with one of the veterans in Charlottes bullpen (like Santiago). Still, I think Baj is a possibility. Another possibility is the Sox keeping Munoz up with the club out of the pen, but thats only realistic if he's going to get playing time (thats after teh Sox acquire a 5th starter).

Hell ya, were definately hitting up 2 games
