He'd definately add some respect and image. I think he's a bit overrated, but maybe bringing him back to Chicgao would be a good plan.

All their other teams are part of the Big East. Their big pay days from NBC will come to an end next year. Then they will have to renegotiate. Don't know if they can get near what they were getting.

ROFL

And it isn't gonna happen but they want them to be the 12th team. Let me be the first to say I'd be ticked if ND joined the ACC. I'd much rather see them join the Big 10.

This season wasn't won or lost based on one game...it was lost based on the Sox not executing and doing the little things.

I'm shocked that Candide isn't on that list. how can James and the Giant peach make it...yet Candide not. Candide was an alright book.

I'd say politically the North is more liberal mainly because of Berkley/San Fran. I really wouldn't call it much of a huge difference other then the fact when you go up north their is tons of open space while in the SoCal area, as long as your near the coastal areas you don't ever hit any open space. I never have heard of them splitting though. Splitting up is new to me. I will also agree with the differneces here in the bay area there are more liberals, but I think that has to do with schools like Cal-berkeley. Heck when the Iraq was began the mayor organized a peace rally. Never heard anything like that in SOCAL. There is open space in SOCAL. Joshua Tree and BigBear And all the desert on the way to Arizona/Vegas. Joshua Tree is great...love going their and going rockclimbing.

Then I don't think you'll like Of Mice and Men.

and there ain't nothing you can do to stop them. I remember when I was cooking boiling water and spilled the entire freakign thing on myself. Holy s*** did that hurt. Don't even remember how I did it. Was paying attention to something else while walking and hit my dog and the boiling water went all over me. Burns on my chest for like a week. Sunburn sucks too. When you got Iowa in you like I do...all you do is burn and get red and boy does it suck

I always get sad when an animal dies in a movie. I can watch countless killing scenes, but when you see the badguy snap a dogs neck I'm always like damn that bastard.
-
My friend did that...hell he even dared one of my buddies to light something else on fire. I didn't have the balls to do either. I just saw myself keeping it on too long and me getting burned. I know getting burned isn't fun...

Green Mile got to me. Great movie. Mr. jinkles.

Right now my friends mom is dying from cancer. They told her she was going to die four-five years ago (He would of been about your age at that time). Since then she's stayed fine but about a month ago my friend was back down from school because his mom had got sick. Now he is relegated to going to her house where she is laying in a bed all day and that just saddens me. I know if I were in that situation it would be so incredibly hard. She just lays their and watches tv until she will eventually pass away peacefully. Worse of all my friend just sits and watches knowing their is nothing he can do to help. I think that has to be incredibly hard. I wish you and every other child would never have to go through that process and I wish no parent would ever have to deal with their child dying. Always remember your mom as you will always carry a part of her with you.

Its about WW1 and their are very detailed descriptions of the trench warfare and such. Very good read.

LMAO, definately glad I passed over reading that too. If the anarchist cook book is what I am thinking of, then the only thing I took away from it, was filling a tennis ball with match-ends and throwing it. I haven't tried it but it sounds intriguing. I think thats the one your thinking off. I remember reading it with my buddies and we'd test blowing s*** up. We always thought it was pretty fun. Never did anything harmful.. We used to dunk a tennis ball in gasoline, light it on fire, and then play handball with it. It was way fun..very safe too as long as you are away from dry brush.

Better go buy the KamaSutra or however you spell it.

Probably gives kids self-esteem issues when they can't find him... I always had trouble finding him on the last page where all the waldos were and you had to find the one with the missing shoe or something.

You'd like All Quiet on the Western Front. Its a rare book that I could just sit and actually read instead of looking at the clock going damn this is taking forever

The Catcher in the Rye was an awesome book. Other books on their that I've read: Of Mice and Men James and the Giant Peach (What the hell?) Adventures of Huck Finn (one of my favorite reads) The Giver (Don't remember much of it; probably one I went with the cliffnote version ) Goosebumps (read like one of them..never liked them but I know they were popular) To Kill A Mocking Bird (Good book) Brave New World (Awesome....much like one of my favorite movies...Gattaca) The Anarchist Cookbook (Learned a few tricks from that ) Wheres Waldo (HUH) One I never read and thank goodness for it: What’s Happening to my Body? Book for Boys: A Growing-Up Guide for Parents & Sons by Lynda Madaras Thats just what I would of wanted...I'd of felt like Jim in American pie.

Agreed..they both rock. They also have lucky which is solid.

I'll pass on Eckstein. Not a high OBP guy and I think he was a fluke. He'll be a bench player in the majors. I wouldn't want him as my starting shortstop.
