Favorite Prospects
Jason, please, no sleeping with the prospects. LOL ROFL. Wing and Honel will definately be in Bham for the start of the season and for the duration of the season. No matter how good they do I don't see either moving up to AAA nor do I see either going up to the majors (Unless the Sox really really suck). Of course the exception to this is if god forbid one of them gets injured.

Ron Gardenhire Not Happy
Thats how I saw it. Pitcher has to deal with it if his team scores runs or has a long inning and they'll have to deal with that too. Gardenhire was stupid for taking Radke out. I thought he hooked him too early right when he pulled him. He hits one guy...other then that he was on cruise control.

Yankees Win Game 2
No...they just need to contract the f***ing yanks. Turn them into a sideshow or something.

Yankees Win Game 2
I want the Yanks to get their asses kicked by the TWis. Screw Georgie and the freaking Yanks and their 187 mill payroll. Its blatant BS that they are allowed to have that kind of payroll while we have to sit and freaking watch the Sox get breaken up because ownership isn't willing to spend 60 or 65. :fyou George

Miami vs W. Virginia
I'm guessing Williams will be one of th top ones. Williams is really good. Great finesse, etc. And as far as DT goes...he'll suceed once we get a real coaching staff in here. I'd say Eli goes in the top 3. I'm not too up on the top prospects though. Usually I figure that out later in the college football season when I start paying more attention to the draft.

Miami vs W. Virginia
He's be nice...but Roy Williams would look a lot better. Plus I like Clark a hell of a lot. Bears need to get Gallery asap and maybe sign Sapp this offseason. Well heres the field goal.

Miami vs W. Virginia
s***...I have no idea how he made that catch. That looked like it was way overthrown and then bam. Guess you know why he's gonna be a top 10 pick as a tight end.

Reality TV taken to far?
Damn...that be creepy watching his brains get blown off on tv...but for some reason I'd watch it. If the morons are stupid enough to do it...then its their problem, imo.

Extra inning playoff game vs Overtime playoff game
Overtime Hockey is really exciting, especially in the playoffs. I loved watching the Ducks in the playoffs, especially once the games went into overtime. Still...I can't possibly get up for a regular season hockey game.

Favorite Prospects
Now that its the offseason I was thinking it would be cool if everyone gave their favorite prospects at each position. I think we'll start with starting pitching and go with your favorite 5. My List: 1. Neal Cotts We got a little preview of Neal this season. We know he has a sneaky fastball and a good changeup. He also has a curveball. The big thing for Cotts is to harness all of his pitches. He's still got a ways to go but he has a very good understanding for pitching. He does a great job changing speeds and location. The big thing for Neal is like I said...control as well as improving his curveball and adding the cutter to his arsenal. Once he gets himself to a spot where hitters can't just sit on the fastball then he'll be ready. 2. Kris Honel Honel has a whicked fastball and knuckle curve. He still has to improve his control but their is no doubt he has two plus major league pitches. It would be nice to see him develop some secondary pitches though. Still has a long ways to go, but the kid has #1 potential. 3. Ryan Wing This guy really impresses me. He's a very similar style pitcher to Cotts. Has a great slider and a sinking fastball. Also throws a cutter and is developing a changeup. From what I saw he moves the ball around very well and changes speeds but the control needs to improve. He's put up the best numbers in the organization over the past two years, imo and is still relatively unknown. 4. Emencio Pacheco Pacheco came out of nowhere this year to put himself on my radar and many other Sox fans radars. He has the best fastball of any Sox starter as well as a good slider. The velocity stays their throughotu the game and he is turning into a workhorse. Still has a ways to go but could make an impact this year. 5. Brandon McCarthy Put up amazing strikeout numbers in Great Falls. Has good stuff but a long ways to go considering he's never had a full season. He'll likely play half a season in Kann and then move to Winston Salem for the 2nd half. Should know more about McCarthy then, once you see his how he handles his first full season. Great upside though. Honorable Mention: Jon Rauch, Todd Deininger, and Corwin Malone. We all know about Rauch and Malone, but Deininger really impressed me the one time I saw him pitch. Showed good command and had nice velocity. Looks like a guy that has potential...will be interesting to see how he develops.

Wally Backman
I like the idea of Backman, Guillen and Gaston. Not incredibly familiar with Buddy Bell. I know he never had any good teams to work with...thats about it. I'd love to have either Gaston and Guillen/Backman (3rd base coach) or just go with Backman or Guillen and let them hire their own guy respectively. I love the rest of our coaching staff and believe any of these three choices would be good.

Worst lottery pick?
Well my vote is TJ Ford. I don't think he'll be able to do it in the NBA. The center the clips picked will liekly be a bust too (Cayman) as he's got back injuries that are expected to effect him the rest of his career.

Jeremy Reed
I understand that Webster was a long way and certainly no guarantee. I also applaud the deal KW made that resulted in giving him up. However, I would still rather have him in the system now than not. Too bad losing him didn't pay off for us this year. If Webster can learn to draw walks and develop power (A big ??) then he could turn into something. Right now I think he was overhyped and the Sox held onto the better outfield prospects. Plus they have such depth at that position now, albeit most of it is at the lower levels.

Frank Thomas
Agreed. Heck...Konerko for Thurston wouldn't be a bad trade. Thurston has fell out of love in LA and Konerko could go in there and provide pop. Personally I wouldn't make the deal, but if the Sox take on about 2 mill each season I'd think they would do it. Or set it up where you take on 2 mill a year if he doesn't reach certain numbers. Thurston could also give the Sox added depth at 2nd base. Also as far as 1st base/bench what would everyone think about bringing Ventura on to play Daubach's role?
