  1. BMR, updated standings are on the right side of SoxNet which is our sister site. I can work up a html area below the header that would have standings and stuff if people would like me too.
  2. Welcome aboard. Siro was one of my favs back in the days. In regards to the registration, we hope to have it working much better in a week or two. Unfortunately I won't be able to get it fixed until I'm back from my vacation
  3. If they don't resign him then they will be regretting this move. Then again, Ponson should only be better in the NL. And Sidney...I want ya on the South Side next year
  4. Something must of happened here. Either way he'll clear waivers. I heard on the radio that both sides confirmed the deal.
  5. That turns into a real good deal by the Yanks. Also a solid move by the Dodgers although I don't know why they gave up two guys. Either way Ventura automatically has the 2nd highest OBP on the Dodgers now. I'm guessing Rockin Robin will play first.
  6. Actually come to think of it, he wold of been an excellent choice as the 5th starter if the Sox could of made it a 3 way and gave the Orioles a prospect for Moss.
  7. They traded away Millwood and he's pretty darn good. Remember they traded Ortiz for Moss so that says a bit something of Moss' value. I think they also dealt a prospect with Moss. Either way I like Moss quite a bit. He's gonna have a good career.
  8. Ainsworth is a better prospect then Cotts. It be the equivalent to giving up Honel and someone not quite as good as Garland. Moss is pretty good though. I'm a big fan of his. Orioles did pretty damn good as they now have two guys for their rotation next year. I'm surprised they didn't move Helling. But that could still be announced.
  9. Especially if Ventura heads to the Dodgers. Think the Yanks get a guy better then Rockin Robin and they'll add like 6.5 mill (counting whatever cash they sent over) and then they'll deal Robin, probably pick up part of his salary but still save quite a bit of money. Got to give Cashman credit on this one.
  10. Oh Jason.. you have no idea how funny what you wrote is.... "We" said the same exact thing. I'd be at all 7 games!! If things go well for the Sox I'm gonna buy plane tickets via Southwest for the date of the series and will spend some of the money I've made this summer working like 50 hours a week. Oh man...you tell Sidney if he joins the Sox he'll have you and me head up the Ponson Fan Club
  11. Ya, didn't even notice it.
  12. Agreed, Levine would of been a good pickup for the Sox.
  13. But it would solve baseball's woes overnight if the Yanks were contradicted. They should just get turned into a baseball variety of the Harlem Globe Trotters
  14. Sweet...Now I only hope you'll get to see the Sox play the Giants And next season if Giants don't resign Ponson (They will sign him considering what they gave up) then the Sox should go after him. And for those that doubted, I think its a given they would of given up their 3 best prospects for Colon.
  15. We got Heads in charge of getting the color changed
  16. Damn the Orioles did really good.
  17. Borchard and Rauch for Vazquez would be a very fair deal as it wold be if it was Cotts instead. I think Sox will acquire Vazquez or Ponson. Its just a hunch I have. I think KW will look at the price for the mediocre pitchers and say screw it...I can get one of those two and keep them long term and not really give up much more.
  18. I got a hunch that the Sox will land Ponson for Malone, Rogowski, and Majewski.
  19. Last year Young was coming off a season ending surgery when he broke his arm for his highschool team.
  20. I think its a really stupid move if they give up anything. Karros has been playing really good and Choi is still very solid and will become a good player.
  21. The deadline is still an hour away.
  22. Selig...if you have any decency you'd step in and veto this deal if its true that the Yanks are sending over 3.5 mill in cash and basically buying the player.
  23. The only hold up is that Palmerio has to accept his no trade clause back to the team that he came up with. No idea who is involved. Its supposed to be announced at 1:00 in a press conference.
