After the Sox game I watched Eight Men Out on the IFC channel and damn as usual I got all pissed off at those bastards for throwing the game. Come on Sox...play to your ability and play hard and maybe you guys can end this curse

Escobar would be nice if Malone and someone else, maybe Ulacia could be the basis of it. Those would be the two guys I'd be willing to move right now along with Majewksi and some others. Pacheco, Reed, Honel, Cotts are untouchable. Notice Borchard isn't on that list...but it has to be for a real good player and a long term solution to do it.

I'd be willing to give up Malone. I'd prefer Malone going in a package to land Ponson. I'd play hardball with the Orioles and I think they've got most GM's to sour and at the last second I'd come in with an offer and say take it or leave it. Ponson isn't a short term acquisition, he's a long term one too.

He'll make a deal if a good deal is out there, I know that much. If it doesn't go down now, expect him to look at Chuck Finley or Kevin Appier or someone that will clear through waivers.

If Sox acquier another reliever it will be White that is gone imo. Actually I think if they acquire another pitcher, starter or reliever he's gone and I'm sure someone would pick him up.

I was watching the Royals broadcast last night and they said they added todays game to the schedule so I'm wondering if somehow MLB Extra Innings will pick up the Royals broadcast.

I figured Suppan would cost a top prospect.

Theo Epstein is a damn good young GM. I think the Red Sox lucked out when Beane decided not to come. Epstein is gonna bring them a series sooner or later. Him and JP Rippaldi of the Blue Jays (Excuse the spelling) are my two favorite GM's and yes Ken Williams ranks amongst the top on my list. The good thing is Epstein is doing good at an incredibly young age, which could open up an opportunity for me.

Well I'm guessing someone good is getting moved if the Red Sox got Ponson. If he doesn't go for much then I think he would of been well worth it cause you can have him this year and next year (4 mill option).

If I somehow get out of work by then, then I'll definately be watching it.

Reds are asking for cash in almost every deal, so they will by no means send cash to us. I believe they're cutting 20 million in payroll next year. If Graves is dealt they won't be able to get anything for him if they also want cash. If a guy doesn't make much, then they definately will get cash. Jose makes an error.
