I'm guessing it was Vazquez.
I think we'll see Williams try to land this pitcher via waivers if he gets the chance or wait until the offseason and try again.
I got a hunch Williams plans to add payroll next year and I think everyone knows what I'm hinting at by bringing this up
Well when Koch is back at 100% next year and Cotts is pitching well as a 5th starter I think things will be looking real good, especially considering Foulke will be getting a big money free agent contract from someone not named the Oakland A's.
Lets put it this way. JR has always said he'd spend the money on the Sox if the fans were showing up to the park.
So far the fans have never put the pressure on JR (He spent his money back in the days) so why not put the pressure on him to increase the payroll next season.
I really think now is a great opportunity for this Sox team. Unfortunately if they fall short (Meaning they don't make the playoffs) then it will mean that the Sox will probably lose a lot of players and the fans would once again complain (Well some of them at least).
I think KW has put the team in place, now JM and the players have to get things done. I got confidence as long as they don't get greedy (By swinging for the homer) and as long as the team stays healthy.
Come on Sox
He has another year on his contract with the Angels and the Angels will be paying him around 15.5 million over the next two seasons.
All the White Sox have to do is pay the league minimum over the next two years.
Appier was injured with the Angels so I don't think he'd be able to make an immediate impact and I don't think he is a better pitcher then Danny Wright. Both have control problems but Wright has far superior stuff when compared with Kevin Appier at this stage in his career.
I'd pass on him unless Wright proves horrid in the next two starts and I think Wright will surprise some of you.
Damn they just replayed the run that KC got their 3rd run on, it was a foul ball. We should have never gone to extra innings.
And ESPN just said we won 7-5
Ya, I just saw that.
Still, you'd have to think they would of got the run home.
Damn...just got back from dinner. I left in the 8th and just read up with everything I missed.
s***, I never knew I could get excited just reading updates
Now come on Show, close this baby out and lets take some positive momentum with us for the dreaded west coast swing.
Well, that's good...
WOOHOO, PAULY!!!
oh, sorry...
It's obvious, if someone offered me run my own contest board and me take all the credit for it I would jump all over that offer
I know I did
Lol...
Couldn't tell ya much about him other then what Winningugly1983 told ya.
I don't think of him as a prospect at this point, especially since he's 23 and in Bristol.
Oh I gotcha. Ya that would be really nice. Thats how like the stat pages are done. You get permission from someone like stats.inc and I think pay them money and you get a code for the team you want and they update everything and it autogenerates to update your page.
I'm assuming its the same thing if you wanted to do things that way.
