  1. Tony G pops it up to Kielty. Will Koch or White come in Either way Sox got a 2 run lead, now lets keep that lead.
  2. Boy you guys sure like to tempt fate dont ya Koch better not make this, the longest thread in Soxtalk history one thats is remembered by a loss. Jose grounds out to Delgado (0-6 night). 2nd and 3rd for Graffy. Come on Graffy, base hit. I'd feel a lot more comfortable with a 4 run lead.
  3. Jose could have an amazing night (5 K's) if he goes down swinging here. Its been a long time since I've seen a guy have 5 k's. I'd rather see him go 1-6.
  4. Didn't who let the dogs out also become the Sox song for a while and there was a little argument between fans on which team really had that as there theme song? Daubach walks...see I was just predicting the future
  5. What the hell was I smoking, somehow I thought Daubach was hitting whne Everett was up.
  6. I remember that horn when I was in Toronto a few years ago to see a game. That and Hoohay stuck out to me at that stadium. I also remember how cool it was to use American money there. At that time the exchange rate was pretty good and I bought me a couple fitted hats for 11 bucks.
  7. I don't think Frank was getting thrown out, but DJ mentioned that.
  8. Juan Acevedo is coming in after Daubach walked. Konerko is up. I'd like to see him gear up one of Acevedo's fastball
  9. Frank took off.
  10. Today has just been a bad game for him. I don't think he's a bad baserunner though. In all honesty this year the Sox haven't been too bad on the paths. They've made mistakes, but so does every other team in the majors at one point or another. Last year..they were ugly. Full count to Daubbie. Rip it out of here Daubs.
  11. I don't know about everyone else, but I would still like to see some more runs, make the lead comfortable.
  12. Lets not jinx anything.
  13. YESSSS and Crap... Maggs doubles home Frank and gets caught up in between 2nd and 3rd. Bad baserunning for the 2nd time tonight by Magglio.
  14. Its as good as done.
  15. YESSSS 3-2 SOX Frank singles up the middle
  16. She's waaay hot.
  17. Ya and come to think of it, it wouldn't of been too bad of an idea.
  18. YESSS, leadoff double by Carlos to right. Thats how its done Carlos. Nice short stroke. Frank is up so I doubt he'll be bunting.
  19. That scared me.
  20. Hudson gets an infield/bunt single. Runners on 1st and 2nd and 2 outs. Come on Gordon get Woodward and end the inning. White warming up in the bullpen.
  21. No i agree with you there. Him not getting the bunt down is BS. I give him leeway cause he isn't ready to handle the bat, but getting down a bunt isn't like hitting a homerun, its something anyone can do if they practice.
  22. Agreed, bunting can be done with practice. 2 out walk.
  23. Jas, he didn't get the job done, but he is also a rookie, give him a break...Double play..... i know hes a rookie but hes also failed in a bunting situation TWICE today. once is bad, twice is unnacceptable. bring him in early tomorrow for coaching and leave him on the bench for just that game. like chisoxfn said he needs to be held accountable. if you keep letting him off hes never gonna learn He messed up one bunt, Jose messed up the other. Miguel whiffed with runners on 1st and 2nd though, but I don't blame him for that...he shouldn't of been up there, they should of pinch hit.
  24. He needs to go deep, cause Porzio goes on Saturday. Hopefully the Sox bats can just creme the ball for a while and give the pitchers a break so the Sox can use Sanders, Koch and Glover.
