  1. I think Malone kept it quiet, but right when they found out they shut him down immediately. Of course, often when I guy is really struggling, he is throwing hurt, especially when a guy pitched as good as Malone did the year before.
  2. I'm willing to let him start now, especially if we have Rollins and Rogers here.
  3. If that were the case, I'd still try to find a better way to spend the money, say Vladdy. He's a free agent at the end of the season.
  4. I'll take Carlos Beltran in center over Wilson. Beltran is awesome.
  5. Malone was hurt last season and struggled mightily with his control. I believe he will start in AA, but Jim Bullard believes he will be in AAA if he's healthy. Malone hasn't been forgotten, I just think the SOx realized he needs more seasoning. He's got great stuff and can flat out pitch. He was still good dispite giving up way too many walks and pitching hurt. This year should be better for Malone, but he still has a lot to work on. He's incredibly young and will not see the majors this year, until September, maybe.
  6. I think Glover will have a monster year. He's such a talented pitcher and he's really good out of the pen. Flash could be spectacular and Marte will be good. We got a deep bullep and plenty of depth in the minors in case of injuries, struggles, etc.
  7. As long as they aren't rally monkeys.
  8. What I like to do, is get into it with a couple people in the crowd. Usually the Sox lose when I'm there; afterall they suck on the west coast. Still its more fun when you meet a couple new people at the ball park and do a little friendly trash talking.
  9. I'm always swearing around the house when I'm watching a game. No matter what, my family has just learned to leave me alone; other then my dad. My friends are patient enough to watch it, while I try to give them play by play.
  10. I think it is in March against this year.
  11. Not if it was during school. If it was for the summer, I would probably do it, depending on what I did. He seemed like a nice guy. He was just sitting behind home plate by himself during batting practice and I was talking to my dad when I noticed him. He kept telling me to go over there and I figured he wouldn't talk to me. I went over there and talked to him quickly, that was about it. This time I'm going to give him a good talk. Hopefully Mario and Mark will be there and we can land an exclusive interview Typically at spring training, I watch a lot of bp, then mosy over to the bullpens to watch the pitchers throw, then watch the games. I've kidn of given up on the whole autograph thing, mainly because I've gotten most of the players autographs in previous years. Either way its a real blast and I think any baseball fan should make it to there teams camp at least once in there life time.
  12. The first time, I congratulated him on getting Boomer Wells and simply said hi. The second time I talked to him and said I didn't like the Ritchie deal, but I was willing to give him a shot. Rauch was pitching that game and I mentioned to him that I really liked him as well as Osuna and he thought I was pretty sharp. He said I was a smart kid. Stupid me never gave him my name, but he said I aught to look for an internship (Of course I told him I live in California) I think he was just shooting the bull with me though, cause it was like a 30 second conversation. I then asked him how him and Osuna were doing as far as rehab was concerned.
  13. Well, I'll inform people of what I see when I'm at spring training. I'll mainly be watching BP. Then I try to sneak behind home plate and talk to the scouts or at least get in a spot where I can read the guns. The past two years I've talked to Ken Williams. This time I'm going to really talk to him and try to get him to give me some type of job *cough* Asst GM *cough*
  14. I think its ridiculous how they never call guys off the bag. If your going to get a dp, then at times your going to have to stay in and take the heat and ocassionally take a spike. Its all part of the game.
  15. Well, does anyone here think that Nasa will never tell us what really happened if it wasn't the tiles? I'm not saying this is something to cover up, but a lot of the time, they are very quiet and many think they have covered plenty of things up; maybe even the moon landing
  16. Who listened to Colin Powell's speach today?
  17. Your not getting your hopes up. Then again, it may just be us Chisoxfan's that are nuts. Either way, I'm with ya. I got a great feeling this will be the year. Now lets get Rogers, acquire Rollins without giving up Rauch and I'll call it an offseason.
  18. I plan on going to a couple at the end of May/Beginning of June. My buddies girlfriend just moved out there and me and him are going to be flying out then. Everything else will be free, which I like. Then if they make the playoffs, I'll definately find a way to make it out there. I will see every game they play in Anaheim and maybe everyone they play in LA, at least one though. I may even drive to Arizona to see them play the Dbacks.
  19. I think Cerb saw it somewhere else. If Cerb heard it, then I definately trust it.
  20. It will be sweet as long as they don't give up Rauch.
  21. Nevermind, he's on the Rockies.
  22. Mike, so you know, I'll be doing my show at either 2 central or 3 central time on Saturday. This ones for sure. Last week I had a huge football tourney, played 5 games total and didn't have any time to do a show.
  23. I thought Wilson never moved. he was supposed to, but ended up staying in Colorado.
