Awful awful performance from Fields. Shows despite all the tools - he has so much work to still do. Yes the weapons stink but he has to make on time plays too. Oline was also terrible. But fields has to make some on schedule plays. Everything can’t just be him making ridiculous running plays or holding ball forever until coverage finally breaks down.

Yeah - this was a good move at that rate and about what McCann is worth after past few seasons.

Weird McCann would have the Sox on a five team no trade list. I say that because he had his best seasons there. This was what I expected - basically a bunch of money headed to Orioles and presumably the PTBNL is a nobody.

Don't give this rumor any thought. At least not for the names being referenced by the Mets.
