Chisoxfn

Started out in the upper 80's and now has moved up as high as 92. But his pitches look very crisp and he's throwing that FB at all kinds of different levels (bottom half of the zone, upper half of the zone, inside/outside). His FB looks good.

I think Peavy is going to have a great year for the Sox next year. He's got good stuff, good command and should be a lot stronger a year from now.

I like that he works fast and hits the lower part of the zone. Definitely looks like he has the makings of being a middle of the rotation starter, which is nice.

Hell. I understand the Sox paid a lot of money to Dunn, but we are in August. I'm pretty sure he's not going to just magically get better the rest of the year. At this point, its going to take an off-season of freeing his mind, working out, and making minor adjustments to hopefully get back onto his game. Yet this team has done nothing but trop him out in run producing spots and it makes absolutely NO sense. None. DA gave an example of what the Yankees did with Arod. The Red Sox in the past did things with Ortiz. Yet the White Sox have done very little. Same can be said for Alex Rios. Why should they still be penciled on a nightly basis when they have sucked through the first 4 months of the season?

Ok - Never before have I ever contemplated doing this, but I'm thinking about writing an open letter to White Sox management regarding the feelings of the die-hard Sox fans. Will it actually make a different, probably not. But I feel as though I have to at least let the organization that I'm such a huge fan of know what is currently going on in the mind of a die-hard Sox fan. Let me know what you think of the below and if these thoughts tend to summarize our base of posters. And feel free to make fun of my grammatical miscues, haha.

While all publicity is good publicity. I find it very offensive to have this site being labeled "racist". Up until 1967, it would have been illegal for me in certain states to be married to my wife due to us being of different races. So when someone labels the site that I own as being racist, I find it incredibly offensive and upsetting.

I want to point out in no way does Soxtalk speak on that behalf. We allow posters to speak there minds but there has always been a line drawn in the sand and our posters 99.9% of the time respect that. If people want to email Mr. Greenberg, you can do so. But if you do, be respectful and civil. I personally just reached out to him. As the owner of this site I can flat out say if I saw that sort of post or comment, the post would have been removed and the member suspended or banned.

I would love to hear the specifics. I just think at this point our organization is in dissaray. JR is loyal to two people who just don't see eye to eye. And that is just a situation that is bound to fail. We do have to remember. Kenny isn't exactly known for being the most professional GM either. Emotions have gotten the best of him just as they have Ozzie in the past. Ozzie's occur more often but I wouldn't be shocked if there was a lot of other drama that has went on that we don't know about either.
