  1. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 30, 2008 -> 11:59 AM) I'd be just as willing to say it would be part of Hillary's first 100 days. Yep, because she has to look "tough" to the rest of the world.
  2. I'm telling you, the Clintons don't do a DAMN thing without calculating the ramifications. Don't be surprised if Hillarity gets the endorsement.
  3. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jan 30, 2008 -> 09:46 AM) So... Obama pretty much has no shot now? He hasn't since Hillarity cried in New Hampshire.
  4. Sorry but it's Clinton Clinton Clinton Clinton in that order.
  5. Are you Obama people learning that you don't have a chance? You should. The "roses" scenario of him beating Hillarity, Billary, b****, whatever you want to say, is over, and has been since she cried in New Hampshire. The only SLIGHT way is Edwards to 100% back Obama. And I guess we'll see.
  6. QUOTE(NUKE @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 05:01 PM) I get more and more turned off by this election with every passing day. The Republican field is still a mess ( although I think both Guiliani and Huckabee are done for after this week ) and none of the candidates have any new ideas. The Dems all talk about "CHANGE!!!" without offering anything really specific. Honestly I'm seriously thinking about taking this election off. Because, Bush Sucks, and it has to be better with them in charge. The Democratic Platform since 2004 has been "Bush Sucks" and "we can do better!!!", and we see how that's going with the current Congress, don't we?
  7. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jan 28, 2008 -> 08:28 AM) Thats Good Ol' Assholes! lol Ya'll are assholes.
  8. State of the Union is tonight, anyone going to watch? It should be full of the usual bulls***.
  9. Read some of the responses... they are interesting. That's the one that is most interesting to me because Hillary is still in control of the party as a whole, IMO.
  10. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 02:35 PM) I wouldn't say noone will let that happen. It is entirely possible. This is, after all, the Democratic Party. No, your original point to me is right. They can't let that happen, because it makes it a lot harder to win the general.
  11. Well, yes, it's early. But I had to start the thread.
  12. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) And SDOGPEIT was born. Exactomundo! Now, I get to create the thread.
  13. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 02:25 PM) The candidates will do anything to line up enough delegates to have that deal made before Denver. Nobody wants a multi ballot nomination process. Nobody. Exactly. The whole idea is to go into your respective conventions like you own the world, and build momentum for the general election. No one will let it be splintered.
  14. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 01:53 PM) The CLINTONS are spinning it, but nobody it buying it. Super Duper Orgasmic Galatic Pooper Extremely Important Tuesday will tell us if that's true or not. I hope you're right.
  15. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) This is an endorsement that helps him get the nomination. BTW, the superdelegates are coming out in full force for Obama while almost all of Hillary's were from last year. The tide is turning. As I said, I hope you all are right... but Hillarity is going to do SOMETHING, be it get REALLY nasty or cry again. The Clintons are not going to let this go. As I also have said many times, I can't vote for Obama. But I at least respect him, and I think that he'd make a good president, even though I totally disagree with many of his stances.
  16. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 11:01 AM) That's great. What do you then do with the hundreds of thousands of people that make up your human waste? If you dismantle the IRS, and basically force a grand shrinking of the federal government, there are suddenly hundreds of thousands of newly unemployed. What do you do with them? Rex, stop asking all these meaningful posts. You're letting the facts get in the way of a good story.
  17. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 11:47 AM) Ted Kennedy to endorse Obama tomorrow. For that reason alone, I could never vote for the man. Talk about an endorsement he DOESN'T need.
  18. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 10:57 AM) Because he's Ron Paul and you should check him out. Unless you actually do, then ignore that part. I love it.
  19. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jan 27, 2008 -> 08:57 AM) Really? Looks quite authentic to me and I'm pretty good at spotting photoshopped work. I guess the reason it did for me was because it appears to be somewhat layered. The guy with the phone on top of Obama, on top of the street. BTW, I didn't mean it to be "derogatory"... it just didn't look right to me. That's cool that it's authentic, though.
  20. That looks totally photoshopped. Yes, we know he's a Sox fan, but still, that doesn't look right.
  21. I will concede this much... every single time Hillarity has attacked Obama, it has totally backfired. When it happened in Iowa it was a blip. This time, it was hardcore, and it REALLY snowballed. And then, in NH, when she "showed her softer side" by crying, she gets accolades from the world for "being a human being". I fully expect another "softer side" moment damn soon. Watch, it will happen. She needs sympathy, not hate, and they know now how to get it.
  22. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 26, 2008 -> 09:39 PM) <!--quoteo(post=1565585:date=Jan 26, 2008 -> 07:05 PM:name=Balta1701)-->QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 26, 2008 -> 07:05 PM) <!--quotec--> Bill gets asked a question not remotely relating to race, or even South Carolina. Bill's immediate response..."Jesse Jackson won South Carolina twice". Are you freaking kidding me? My God! What a world class a$$hole. seriously. And as I said, they knew this was going to happen, and the spin was in place long before today. South Carolina means NOTHING, IMO.
  23. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 26, 2008 -> 09:17 PM) Actually, its her trying to save face. She hardly mentioned tonight's contest. She spent a lot of resources and couldn't even score half the votes Obama got. Hillary's support is actually pretty soft. Oh, RLY? Super Duper Orgasmic WINNAR Tuesday will be it... or something.
  24. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 26, 2008 -> 09:16 PM) That's not the reaction I heard on the news tonight. It was all over the press two days ago that Billy had already conceded SC to Obama. I think that's enough to continue my Hillarity kills Obama theory. As I have said over and over, I hope that it's not the case, but I doubt it.
  25. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Jan 26, 2008 -> 08:19 PM) Hillary only had to win one state in a pretty close race? I don't buy that at all. Oh yea. You have to understand that the media is creaming their pants for Hillary. After Obama "HAD A GIGANTIC WIN" and Hillary won, she got the "comeback kid" label Billy had. They got their wish, and you have to understand that the media has already WAAAAAAAAAY factored in an Obama win in SC purely because of the race factor, which is sad.
