I will say this much... the agents are stepping in now. Modano, on his own, would have stayed in Dallas. Bulin wants $$$, all that talk of a Stanley Cup run with another team, *bs*, he wants PAID. Personally, I think that a sniper and a stay at home rugged defensemen or two for the 'Hawks gets them a pretty damn good team next season. The west is not going to be that strong. Also, Florida has assembled quite a roster, if you hadn't noticed. There's going to be some interesting things happen before Saturday, that's for sure. The market's heating up fast.

Dallas Morning News is the link for Modano. My point is, there are SERIOUS offers being tendered to some pretty damn big names by the Hawks. I told you. Now, they just need to land one. Unfortunately, the reputation preceeds $Bill.

And what makes this one weird is the plane was landing in a thunderstorm - Air France Airbus A340... 20 years to the day, an L1011 Delta plane crashed, while landing in a thunderstorm, at Dallas/Fort Worth.

On his last tour, I worked the show at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. He actually puts on a pretty good show for an old timer.

Now tell me, people, that the Hawks ain't f***ing serious. Say what you will, but Modano is no slouch.

I'll tell you, everything has died down on who gets what - because no one knows how the playing field is going to shape up yet. Someone needs to get some balls and make a big breakthrough signing so the pieces can start coming together.

I don't laugh for him getting hurt... but it sure does help our cause.
