That's what I'm talking about. Real jelly beans in generic packaging.

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 08:32 PM) LOVE, LOVE ME DO YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU I´LL ALWAYS BE TRUE SO PLEASE,LOVE ME DO OH,LOVE ME DO LOVE, LOVE ME DO YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU I´LL ALWAYS BE TRUE SO PLEASE,LOVE ME DO OH,LOVE ME DO SOMEONE TO LOVE SOMEBODY NEW SOMEONE TO LOVE SOMEONE LIKE YOU LOVE, LOVE ME DO YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU I´LL ALWAYS BE TRUE SO PLEASE,LOVE ME DO OH,LOVE ME DO Those lyrics rock 50, I can see why you would call the first Beatles album a masterpiece. ::shrugs:: Its personal preference, what I find to be trailblazing, you seem to think is crap. Also generally I like songs with good beats, and the lyrics are secondary. I dont think 50 is even one of the top 10 writers today, probably I could name 50 depending on if we are counting "alive" or whether or not they produce new albums. I just dont see how "Love me Do" is any more or less than "In Da Club". They are entertainers and their goal is entertainment, not to write essays and books. (EDIT) Did I say 50 was better than Rakim? Itd be like saying Shyne is better than Biggie, or Puff Daddy could take KRS One. SB Now you're talking, SB. (Had to post that). But, ripping on people that are joking about something is what I had a problem with. And the stats about rap, they buy it because of the shock value, IMO. But that's purely IMO.

Eh. I take your point and I'll bow out of this thread. But it pisses me off when people defend these guys like they are something. They could do a hell of a lot more then they do to HELP instead of shooting people all over the place. It sucks that they live the way they do, but part of me says they ask for it. I took this thread as humor, not as a smart ass kind of thing and to see that answer sort of threw me. Whatever. /Out

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 06:30 PM) Most of these posts are nonsense. He was shot in the face, more specifically the mouth and was hit multiple times. Some times people just do not die from gun shots. Look at Shug, he was shot in the head and was fine, Tupac was shot and was killed. As for being able to write lyrics, I doubt any one on this site can write lyrics even close to 50's or the names mentioned, because if you could you would be selling millions of records. But then again, I bet you can all write Shakespeare in perfect iambic pentameter, etc, because you are all genius. :: shrugs:: So much venom, but I doubt that 50 or any of them would care about a bunch of jealous internet posters. I mean, how many albums have you produced lately? 0 Thats what I thought. lol Hilarious. SB You want to know my problem with these no-talent "rappers"? (I'll probably get shot now). They are a bunch of whiny ass no-talent assholes who pray on a bunch of inner-city kids to make their money. They talk about s*** that has no business being sold as "art". Hilarious. That's just f***ing hilarious. "Gangsta rappers" don't deserve what they have. They have "talent", so use it on something else besides rhymes about their beyotches and their guns and sheyat. 'Nuf said.

QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 06:21 PM) Black gangsters really need to learn how to aim. 50 is shot 9 times and doesn't die? That doesn't mean 50 is a badass, it just shows that the f***ing moron trying to kill him was too infatuated with holding his gun sideways to look down the f***ing sight. Word, brutha. Hilarious.

Go Comcast. I wish that they had it where I live. I'd REALLY like Comcast then.
-
I have Dish, and it's actually very good where I am. And they have all the pay-per-view sports packages.
-
CPA's are good Tex (shameless plug here) Seriously, if a CPA can't save you what you pay them, they're not the best CPA. Sometimes, a CPA can give you ideas that generate enough money to triple what you pay them over a year.

To interface with quickbooks you will need something a little more robust, but not as fancy as some of these programs are. I think if you got a middle of the road shareware program (not more then $50) you will get your results.
-
Ah ha... nevermind then. It's all good...
-
Hey Tex, :fyou
-
If you google "Scheduling Programs Interface Quickbooks", there are some shareware programs that will work (eval then buy if it works like you want). I think there are some there that will do exactly what you are looking for.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 02:23 PM) The original term was crapple, but the marketing guys got ahold of it and added the "s" after one of the interns that was hired to taste it said "This tastes like sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssh"

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 1, 2005 -> 01:14 PM) I had another name idea... If its a girl (I can't remember what you said on the phone last night) you ought to name it after nutjob that set you and A up. Yea, that will fly over like a religion thread in SLaP. Like not at all. He's a HE and I think we're going to call him Puck.
-
No accidents the first night of him home! Yay! He's really mild mannered, I'm pretty amazed.
-
We figure about 50 lbs. That's pretty good size but not terribly huge.
-
Actually when we got him and we took him to the vet, we actually think it's an Akita/Blue Heeler mix. He's a cute little bugger, and super smart. He learned "sit" in about 5 minutes.

I sent ya a PM about this, Aboz, hopefully that was ok, but that was my penny of a thought too, was the winners should be the name (or nickname) of the team. But overall, it was great, and I think the quotes were written into the column very well too!

QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 09:57 PM) Ginger's been a great "pound puppy". It's kind of tough not knowing what exactly she is (breed) but for the most part she's been awesome with no problems. Watch the kitties though. While we had no issues when we brought Ginger home, since Abby joined the family they've become a bit rebellious. A couple accidents on the kitchen floor mainly to let us know who's the bosses. See my sig! It's the truth!
-
Pound puppies generally make great dogs. I grew up with pound puppies (dogs) and they were GREAT, hence me going there this time for one.
-
Well, we're adopting a pound puppy - my wife is at the shelter picking him up now. He's a chow/heeler mix (less chow). He's a pretty laid back little fellow... about 4 mo. old and very attentive. He responded very well to paying attention to me when we had him out of his cage at the pound. This ought to be interesting with the kitties in our house. I'll post some pics later tonight.

Oh no way. You can't move back here. We don't want you back.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 28, 2005 -> 02:38 PM) http://www.suntimes.com/output/sports/cst-spt-sox28.html I have to agree, it's over, move on to 2005. Damn, he just let it all fly, didn't he? Hold something back, Oz. Otherwise you might bust. But I agree with him 100%. The whole thing is BS, and it's time to stop talking about it.

Since when is it the RESPONSIBILITY for the government to provide for our retirement? People act like it's a God-given right to have money come in when they get old. It's NOT. The same thing goes for medical insurance. It's not a RIGHT. Don't get me wrong, I think there should be safety nets. The problem is that people are dependant on it, and that's where I have the issue. You have to want to do better. Most people don't when the safety net is there and handouts start flowing in. Where's the incentive? Is the "American Dream" to have government handle everything? That's where I have the disconnect.
